    Just wanting to know what peoples thoughts are about our upcoming match against Forest away on Tuesday night? What would be peoples starting 11 and how confident and hopeful are people of progressing?

    Personally,I feel that we should take this cup seriously as it opens up a much easier path to europe,if that, as is said is the target this season.

    Im hoping that the Team that takes to the field on Tuesday night is close to the following...

    Krul

    Simpson Taylor Kadar Taylor

    Marveaux Gosling Cabaye Ferguson

    Ben Arfa

    Ba

    Nottingham Forest 0-2 Newcastle

    Obertan Gosling Guthrie/Abeid* Ferguson
    Sameobi Lovenkrands


    But have HBA, Marveaux, Ba, Guti etc. to bring on.

    *If Abeid is not still injured


    Do people think that team is too weak?

    It's a tough one because if Cabaye got injured we would regret playing him.

    Marveaux is still getting up to speed and I want him to start next weekend, so I think this match and than that one would be too much for the guy. Shove Obertan in and then bench him against Blackburn.

    I'd also quite like to protect Cabaye considering how important the guy is becoming to how well we play. Gosling and Ben Arfa should be able to handle it comfortably with Cabaye and Tiote on the bench if needed.

    Apparently Abeid will be in the squad and Pardew wants to play him, and also said he doesnt think Sameobi will start. I think/hope:

    That would be cracking too, but Obertan over Marveaux again. I want Marv starting against Blackburn and Obertan on the bench.

    HBA on for Abeid/ Obertan(and switched with Abeid so HBA's in middle) at half time. Sammy on for Jonas at 70 mins and possibly give JJ Hooper a chance on for Ba?...

    Maybe give Perch a game at centre half in case we need him there in the league (god forbid).

    When will people realise ther is no chance of Kader playing?

    * Sammy on early on in the second half.
    ** Ben Arfa on around the 60 minute mark.
    *** Obertan on around the 80th minute mark to run at the tired defenders.

    Of course thay are just hypothetical substitutions, there are many permeatations that could change them.
