That's one of his best. It's true, most of us are hypocrites when it comes to climate change, so how do we combat global warming? I certainly care, but I still wouldn't be without my car, gas central heating and electricity, although we've cut down on "fast-fashion" and eating meat (can't do without a bacon sarnie with my hangover on a Sunday!). Policies must be made by Government, not just banding around terms like Crusties and pretending the issue isn't relevant.

Power definitely, but the more Boris fights Brussels, the higher he rises in the polls. His manifesto will be, give me a majority and I'll negotiate without the ball and chain of the Benn Act, with no deal as backstop

We'll see. Roll on the 31st.
We've got nothing to worry about now that we've all accepted that all it needs is a bit of optimism.. That's what he and lets face it, all of you have been telling us for 3 years I reckon we only need for one of those Operation Fear scenarios to come true for the public lynch mob to turn on him and the Fleet Street editors.
I'm still curious as to how he gets round the promise to obey the law and leave COME WHAT MAY. Boris has no more hiding places.

How old are you? I hate to correct you but they've won at least three if not four times as many World Cups as we have. They've also had the last laugh as they conquered Europe economically.

The Extinction Rebellion leaders: Jet-setter Robin Boardman, a Buddhist teacher and a yoga instructor

Leading Extinction Rebellion activist Robin Boardman-Pattinson says that air travel should only be used in emergencies, but has enjoyed multiple skiing holidays in recent years Credit: Facebook
A leading Extinction Rebellion activist who said that “air travel should only be used in emergencies” lives a jet-set lifestyle, taking skiing holidays, visiting global landmarks and enjoying walks along palm-tree lined paths.
Robin Boardman-Pattinson walked out of a television interview after being branded “incompetent, middle-class and self indulgent” by Sky’s Adam Boulton, but The Telegraph can reveal that climate change is not the only cause which he fights for.
The 21-year-old is a serial protestor, who has railed against Dominos Pizza, Bristol Magistrates court, Toby Young and Bromley Council.
He’s also campaigned against the expansion of Heathrow airport, supported Muslim women wearing Hijabs and Niqabs and asked for retail space in Bristol turned into a slave trade museum.
Worryingly, he also shared a post which calls the allegations of anti-semitism in the Labour party “a massive smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn by the Netanyahuite supporters in the party and wider media/society.”

Mr Boardman-Pattinson, far right, has been arrested for protesting before. Credit: Facebook
But while Mr Boardman-Pattinson rallies against climate change, he has taken at least three skiing holidays in recent years, and has posed for photographs in front of the leaning tower of Pisa. He was unavailable for comment.
But Mr Boardman-Pattinson is not the only protestor to have a coulourful campaign history.
Roger Hallam, who organised the Extinction Rebellion demonstrations has previously hosted at sit-down protest outside the London School of Economics demanding that they pay their cleaning staff a higher wage.
The 52-year-old is apparently researching a PhD in effective radical campaigning and once went on a two-week hunger strike in protest at King’s College London’s investments in fossil fuels, which they then agreed to phase out by the end of 2022.
Mr Hallam was keen to show his support of a spraypaint protest at the offices of The Sun in London Bridge, while he has also urged friends to sign a petition to lower rental costs for students at University College London.
In what he called “taking back our future”, Mr Hallam hosted a huge picnic in Green Park shortly after the referendum, to work out how to “stop Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson hijacking our democracy.”

Cathy Eastburn, on top of the train carriage, is a yoga instructor, while Mark Ovland, in a yellow vest, is a Buddhist teacher Credit: Kirsty O'Connor/PA
On Tuesday, stood on top of a DLR train carriage at Canary Wharf station was mother-of-two Cathy Eastburn. Another popular figure on the rebel circuit, the charity worker was arrested during International Petroleum Week for her protestations at big energy companies.
Also employed as a yoga instructor, Ms Eastburn’s social media feeds show her attending demonstrations against David Cameron and Donald Trump, taking part in the Women’s march and the current climate change protests. Further back, are idyllic images from holidays in Paris, Budapest and Indonesian islands.

Enquiries into the lives of the main instigators of this movement may satisfy a sort of curiosity but they do not discredit the ideas which are being put forward. The fact is that our World is being ++++ed up by greed and 'business as usual' and our normal democratic processes are failing to address this problem - simple demonstrations and petitions are not enough. Are we ready for the millions of potential environmental refugees of the future fleeing from places which have become unlivable as a result of our lifestyle (through rising sea levels or desertification) or will we just shake our heads and say 'not our problem'.

If I were to consider affirmative action think I'd be wearing a balaclava, it's a typical **** raking exercise, mock the source and the participants in an effort to discredit, whilst happily ignoring the serious indiscretions of the leader of the country, and if many of the forums are to be used as evidence, it's working rather well.

Ideally I would not be supporting extinction rebellions actions, but what is their left? The scientific community have been lobbying for decades, with little to no attention paid, the same can be said of peaceful protesters, yet again ridiculed and ignored.. So whilst ideal what else can be done? Governments financially propped up by big industry are ignoring what is clearly irrefutable.

If this is a fight then it’s very entertaining
Certain some sheep will look at the EU as the enemy that’s their choice
    It certainly isn’t mime
It’s a matter of trust for me

if people are happy with UK politics and trust the system good for them ... not for me and I think I am right

I really don’t. The brainwashing of people to believe good old Boris is “fighting” on our behalf against a somehow evil EU is genuinely a bit saddening.
