Serious takeover talk

Basically this.

I said from the beginning that if the deal didn’t go ahead it would be Donald at fault. I’m not seeing anything that disavows me of that opinion tbh.

 

the sacking will have taken place before the Sun story.. which is worrying.

 

It's even more confusing than it was a few weeks ago.....,I'm feverishly looking through two threads at a time now!

 

Donald now saying he is "very hopeful" of the investment we want.

That isnt reassuring at all.

 

If we had appointed a proper manager in the first place we would be playing in the c'ship right now..not languishing in a pub league. Investment wise we would have been far more attractive.
Questions need to be asked as to what exactly are donald and methven touting to these yank groups when 2 have withdrawn at the 11th hour.
Seems to me the yanks are turning over stones and finding nasties. That can only be down to those 2

Where you read that? Him being sacked and the takeover still on would be brilliant.

 

Donald is very active on Twitter at the minute, hasn’t been like this for months.
Hope he is calming everyone down.

I'm travelling so can't post much.

I've had more 'ignore the Sun' messages than anything else. One suggestion was that there'll be investment, for the moment, but no outright takeover.

As it appears a deal was agreed, then their lawyers came in

If they were waiting for the takeover to resolve itself then why would they wait any longer if it is off?

Just a thought, when we all assumed Stewart D was selling up his business to focus on Sunderland more maybe we were right, but that he was going to inject more of his money if the takeover/investment doesn't happen ??

I think this could be exactly it. SD didn’t want to sack Ross but he has probably been told pull the trigger or deal is off. Very similar to Colman.

 

The sacking for me is part of the takeover/investment deal. I wouldn’t be surprised if we had good news tonight.
