Personally think wbe will be safe and that run in fills me with dread. Anything above 15th would be unbelievable, agree with most and would take 17th now. And the fa cup final of course.
Agree with this. We need minimum of 9 from 6 so a win against Villa keeps us on course. Don't forget there's a lot of much trickier games to come, especially at season's end. DT wasn't being too cautious.

I'd definitely take 17th now - it hasn't even got tough for us yet!! After Villa and Fulham it's Chelsea, Spurs, Man City and Stoke away - those teams won't let us play the football we've seen against Newcastle and Wolves. Top 8??!! You're having a laugh!
Some of this weekend's results show that the minute you think you've made it you'll come unstuck: Wolves 0-3, Liverpool 0-4, Stoke 0-4. There are no gimmes, no easy games and every point has to be battled for. Wolves fans probably thought if we beat Spurs and QPR at home we'll be in the top 3 for sure, look at them now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we're playing great football, yesterday was a fantastic result but Villa will test us on Sunday without a doubt and a narrow win would be a really decent result, but don't bank on it...
The fact is Swansea can come to Loftus Road and turn us over and we can go to the Emirates or Anfield and nick something.......every win's a good win - let's just get the points on the board as soon as we can!!
Another thing is we currently lack quality in depth......we have a real quality first 11, but if any get injured or suspended then we will have to rely on the lesser players......this could cost us points over the season, so staying up is the main aim and as we get more quality in depth, we can look at 8th and above.
Yep, you're right. Better to keep calm. Take it slowly, one game at a time. Concentrate on getting to 40 points as soon as poss... ...and there was me thinking let's go loopy and play several games at once!! [Then I thought, hang on a mo, I'm getting a bit carried away here... what can I do about anything? I'm just one of the fans!]
