Serious food for thought Me included Newcastle united has a geordie manager and 4 geordies playing for the first team .. can we have 7 more please ... Thats the way football should be Ashley IN
You are all over the place mate - take a breath and calm down. You were sat on the PL forum decrying Ashley as the twat who is ruining our club last week.
Exactly but when i see a positive i give credit.. and its nice to see... only issue is whether he sells them.. its a question and one worth considering.
So what you are saying is that as long as Longstaff X2 are still at the club come next season you will forgive Ashley all his sins?
I'm simply saying I love the fact we have 4 geordies playing first team football and a Geordie manager ! all other things set aside that is a remarkable and beautiful thing for football in 2019. I'd like 7 more. Football should be more like that and if I'm going to rip Ashely apart for the bad things he does Its only right to credit the positives mate. I do ultimately know we need him gone if we are to keep either longstaff f they play like that even for a handful more games though.
Mike Ashley has nothing to do with the fact there are Geordie players in the team. That's down to the Head Coach. Benitez put Sean Longstaff in and Bruce has given Matty Longstaff his chance. Dummet has been around a while now and seeing Andy Carroll back for nout when Liverpool gave us £35m for him is sweet indeed. Nothing has changed as far as Ashley is concerned.
so he's responsible when things go wrong on the pitch , but not when they go right ? hhhmmm .. I hate Ashley , but that makes no sense
We were second bottom and all over the shop before yesterday. We've just beaten a dogshit team who don't give a **** and who's manager is gonna be sacked any day now. We still have no attack and still haven't scored more than once in any game, and before yesterday no body was saying a good word about Bruce. Geordie manager? Urgh yeah, so was John Carver. Calm the **** down.
No he is right. He was born in Rotherham. You can have Matty Longstaff as a Geordie but will have to concede Justin Rose being an Englishman. You can't have it both ways. Chaos having a nightmare.
Accent makes him an honourable geordie. Shola was apparently born in Nigeria, but had the thickest geordie accent I've ever heard.
Justin rose was born in another country not at the nearest hospital, plus his family are geordies through and through.. Justin rose even sounds south african and that is key.
hw desperate are the mancs these days lolol his Geordie parent was in Rotherham at the time of his birth lolololol class of 2019 our time has come
Personally I think there should be a truce. We have Ashley, there's nothing we can do to force him out, the more we try the worse we make it for ourselves and for the team. He's not even the worst owner we've ever had, believe it or not. McKeag was worse, Shepherd on a par (if you dig a little). Yesterday had moments that made me proud to be a geordie. Ashley wasn't involved in Matty slamming one off the bar, or burying the goal. The celebrations were raw and emotional. Fans get far too tied up, in this internet age, with minutiae and Twitter rage that never used to concern them. Many look back at Shepherd with adoration - some of what that man got away with was ridiculous. Sold a merch warehouse to his son for a song, then paid double the odds to 'rent' the space back with NUFC money. Shepherd's got more money off NUFC than Ashley does, directly at least.
Believe it or not two British people who are living abroad don't need to come back to this country to give birth so that their children can be British Citizens. Funnily enough nor do the immigration service base citizenship on an accent. As Geordiism isn't an official status then I believe that Cronemesiter has gone for the more exacting Geordie-by-birth rather than by Geordie-native. I am with you that he is as much a Geordie as Justin Rose is British.
