Because it wouldn’t be appropriate to say everything. I’ve probably already overstepped what should have been said, but I’m trying to provide a bit of context for a wider picture. As I’ve said, entirely up to you whether you want to believe it.
I was f But at the time Gao was flagged as a risk. It took a lot of effort to push the deal through. She literally has nothing to complain about now. That's how I feel.
Hang on, everyone was quite content with our transfer window up until a couple of weeks ago, what's changed? A couple of losses against the big 6 clubs and everybody is slashing their wrists. I'll add that the only thing I wasn't happy with was Matty Targett not being replaced.
Because we've learned in typical saints fashion that the new CB we were crying out for is actually worse than the ****e we've already got, and the new striker can't hit a cows arse with a banjo. The one signing who looked like he might actually be useful is injured, and the manager hasn't got a clue what he's doing. Probably that's what's changed.
Did you expect to get results against Spuds and Chelsea?, they are a hell of a lot richer than we are.
Let's just see where we are at Xmas, you can't judge too much after 8 games IMO. And we've played 4 of the big 6
I get that HR, but I am saying that I'm pleased she is at least trying to correct it (allegedly) which shows she at least sees the mistake she may have made Now is that because she still wants what’s best for us, or to do with her and money, I don’t know.
Mate, I'd honestly love to be wrong but I made the mistake of watching that ****e today (granted on TV as I refuse to go to St Mary's whilst Gao is there, not putting a pound in that ****ers pocket) that score line didn't flatter Chelsea. We are ****ing awful, we were awful in the previous game, how is it going to change?
I've said before that Chelsea will turn over a few teams like that this season and we weren't that bad at Spuds, just a bit timid.
It will change because the opposition will change. Players will change. Everything will change. Can I have some loose change......
A lot of people were happy with the window, but certainly not everyone. Just seemed like yet another waste of a window to me, by and large. It's still very (very, very, very) early days for Danso. But if he's not actually better than Yoshida or Vestergaard, then why sign him? And if he is better, can we actually play him at CB some time soon? But that said, I'm with you. Today was the first time since the opening day where I would say we deserved to lose. We could easily have more than seven points, and I am still very much backing us to stay up. I'm confident that we have better squads than Norwich, Newcastle and Sheff Utd, and I wouldn't say much about Villa or Brighton either. And at the time of writing, other than maybe Newcastle, none of us have the advantage of having a fire-fighter manager who knows how to get 17th place, no matter how ugly. (Sure that will change as the months go by, especially whilst Sam and Pulis are available.)
Crikey you are negative. Perhaps we should give Adams and Danso a chance to settle and find form, no? Mané was **** when he joined us. Henry pretty **** when he joined Arsenal. Just bear that in mind before we turf them on the heap.
