As a Swiss and an avid Neuchatel Xamax fan (my local club in switzerland), im really furious about whats happening there. As some of you may have heard, a Chechen rich guy (Bulat Chagaev) bought the club a while ago, has sacked 5 coaches (one of which was on the day he bought the club, and the most recent of which didnt lose a game), several players and once the entire staff, as well as violently threatening the players. As it states in one of the articles above, fans have been going to games with tickets hand written on scraps of paper as the staff are also against Chagaev. its really disgraceful, and I really think there should be some sort of policy to protect clubs from this. Again, sorry for this rant and that its on the liverpool board but theres no where else i can really put this as i only ever use this board really, and im too annoyed not to post anything.
Swizz owners are mad look at Sion owner , your club bring back bad memories , a long coach trip 26 hours to see my team thumped 5-1 in the 90's, you had two brothers playing in your team that night
the biggest hope that i have right now is that Chagaev was actually serious when he said that he would give the club to the city for free if the swiss media dont stop hating him. Although that does seem too good to be true
