Cracking backs to the wall performance Phillips, Pratley & Bonne excellent Both CBS and Solly superb MOM - Conor Gallagher - again. Unbelievable effort from him. Atmosphere in the away end was brilliant
frustrating. when you watch the goals back (against) you'll wonder why phillips has such soft hands. he keeps us in games, yet a slightly better keeper will have saved one of those goals today.
Last time we won at the cottage, I was there. Would have loved to be there today too. I had a feeling we might get something from this, but tge Swansea game left me a bit flat. But that was a huge point against a big money team. And sounded like we were well worth our point
Four points from three tough games this week is a decent return. Before the season started our squad was valued at about£5mm, Fulham's about£140m. This is a measure of how good a manager Lee Bowyer is. The fans have responded to the total commitment of this squad. Terrific support from them, although I kept quiet, being in the Fulham end
It looks like Charlton have found a way to get results without Lyle Taylor in the team; Williams + Gallagher + Cullen + Pratley + 100% effort and commitment from every other player on the pitch. If all five of those elements can be present, Lee Bowyer's team can surely compete and take a draw or a win off any team in this league. A huge performance today, and a superb team display. Dillon Phillips thoroughly deserved Man of the Match. A fantastic fighting away point.
Was in the home end opposite, away fans were incredible First half we were brilliant, thought they might nick it late on, incredibly happy with a point
Watching on TV I really noticed that too. It sounded like there were only a few hundred of them. Individual voices shouting things could clearly be heard, like during one of those silly early round JPT games in the old days, when three quarters of the Valley was closed.
Amazing really. I'd say it was the best game I've seen this season, they play good attacking football and are just outside the automatics. On the positive side, I like the old wooden seats in the section I was sitting in. Quality.
I managed to see 30 minutes of the 1st half. Defended well, getting everybody behind the ball then very dangerous everytime we went forward.
Dillon was absolutely outstanding with his shot stopping today - he made 3/4 world class saves. A legitimate question is why he kept punching the ball ? It put us under pressure a couple of times as a result.
He only did it when he didn't feel confident of catching it under pressure, safety first. A couple of times he might have caught it, but a couple of other times he was at full stretch. He's not usually a puncher.
Just about every group of home fans are saying the same thing - that the visiting Charlton fans are the best that have visited their stadium...both in terms of noise & numbers. I think we will sell out at West Brom.
