I credit him for playing Maja mate, but then he had little choice at the time, we had no options.

It’s not a witch-hunt, as a few have said he seems a decent bloke and all that, he may do well elsewhere but he doesn’t fit.

As I said when we had a 4 hour long debate a few weeks back, for me the jobs just too big for him mate.

We were nowhere nearer the top 2 when Maja was there than when he left.

Correct. And we actually got the top 2 AFTER Maja left.

It’s a reason that has no foundations.

I can see your point regarding the takeover mate. Playing Devil's advocate just for a second though and the takeover is a while away yet, I just don't think carrying on, effectively rudderless with Ross is the way forward, short term either. Maybe we get a caretaker in who does a cracking job. We don't know what the future holds but with Ross, I think most of us could take a good guess.

Your point c) is also a valid point but every appointment is a risk to a degree. Best to dip your toe in the water though than stand idly by and do nothing. Again, all IMO and can understand people want stability etc. especially in the current climate but I'm at the stage now where I believe if we don't act, then next season will be another one in the third tier :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Add his goals to the total we ended up with and we'd absolutely have gone up given how close it actually was.

You don't think that being in the top two and having one of the top scorers in the league would have seen us up? Of course it would.

But the point is matevwe weren’t in the top 2.

We hit the top 2 in March, well after Maja went.

Absolutely l think we’d have went up with Maja, but we weren’t in a spot and lost it after he went.

Putting some Fire in the belly is desperately needed. Ross couldn't fire-up a gas barbeque.

The lack of forward progression on the takeover front isn't helping. I firmly believe Ross thinks he will be out and the towel has effectively been thrown in. If SD is allowed to make a managerial change then something is afoot with the takeover. If he sacks him and appoints a caretaker then it would seem the new owners have someone in mind. If he does neither then it would appear they are both gonna's.
The fact is we can't keep playing detective on this issue for much longer.

The takeover is still a maybe. I feel the club needs to focus on the ‘now’ and the ‘now’ is sh#te.....they need to deal with it and fekin fast.

Sorry but it's a nonsense argument to me. We might have done better temporarily after he left (credit to Ross for that) but his lack of goals hurt us massively in the long run. It's a bizarre point of view to think that being in the top two AND having a prolific goalscorer wouldn't have got promotion.

It's pretty simple, look at where we finished, add Maja's goals and it's an automatic promotion place.

But I just clearly said I agree we’d have gone up with Maja.

It doesn’t change my point ‘did Maja’s goals mask the issues with Ross’.

We were rarely convincing last season, with and without Maja.

Have to disagree. Those that thought Ross wasn't up to it have been proven right and those who thought he was have been proven wrong.
