This is good to know. But it's still McGovern....why is my glass not half-fuller? https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-daniel-farke-backs-michael-mcgovern-shine-1-6307579
Well, I don't care what the score is today - I'll be staying until the final whistle and cheering our team off the pitch!!!
I think JMF meant 'whatever the score' he'll cheer, Dunc. DF's article features attack as the best form of defence in the current injury situation: "Farke's depleted squad beating Manchester City in those circumstances makes it clear that they can beat another of the promoted sides when Aston Villa arrive in Norfolk. That came down to a highly-motivated display though, brimming with determination, desperation and clinical decision making. Let's hope City managed to bottle some of that special spirit, as it will be needed again." That's exactly what is needed, a sort of Dunkirk mentality of digging deep to keep the yellow wall on side with unrelenting pressure on the Villa goal, but moreover keeping possession to deny it to Villa. https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/norwich-city-villa-david-freezer-column-1-6307281
Big test today. A little worried. More injury news in the lead up. Need a point or 3 today, because we are doing nothing away. Time to shut up some doubters boys! McGovern is going to need to show what he's got.
Welcome back FML - we were about to get a search party together!!! A draw or better today would be FANTASTIC, but it's going to be a tough ask with SOOO many injuries to key players and also those who would normally deputise.
I don't know whether it's bloody minded optimism or the fact that we have so many players out it is all rather ridiculous, I don't know I think we will win this one.
