Good Morning. It's Friday 4th October, and here are the Leeds Utd headlines

Klich to sign lucrative new deal

Polish International Mateusz Klich is expected to become the latest player to put pen to paper over a long term lucrative deal.

The 29yo midfielders current contact comes to an end next Summer. He is expected to sign a new three year deal. Klich joins Dallas, Cooper, Ayling and Phillips in pledging their long term commitment to the club.

Is anyone else concerned what would happen if Leeds don't go up and Bielsa leaves?

Why not stipulate that the contract comes into force if Leeds reach the Premiership?

    Bielsa's pre match press conference

Harris quits Millwall 24 hours before Leeds game

Neil Harris has dramatically quit as Millwall Manager 24 hours before the Leeds game. The 42 yo Harris was the longest serving permanent manager in the Sky Bet Championship, having taken over at Millwall in March 2015. Adam Barrett has been placed in temporary charge of the team.

Is this a good or bad thing for Leeds?

Trio of midfielder out offers opportunity to youngsters

With Hernandez, Shackleton and Forshaw all missing for tomorrows crunch match at the Den, should we be looking to throw one of our starlets in at the deep end? Gotts, Bogusz and McCalmont have all impressed for Carlos Corberans U23's and with the trio on the physio's treatment table, Bielsa won't have a better opportunity to see if any of the youngsters are ready for first team football.

Alternatively, there is talk about Bamford dropping back and Nketiah starting. The 19yo is yet to start a league game for the Whites, even though we're almost a quarter of the way through the season.

    Bielsa - I deserved booking

Bielsa has admitted he deserved to get booked during their midweek encounter with the Baggies. He and Reyes were both cautioned yelling instructions to the Leeds players from the sidelines. The duo were booked because too many people were stood in the technical area. The FA rules stating that only 'one person at a time' is able to 'convey instructions' from the technical area!

"I deserve it (yellow card)," " There is a rule, you can put only two coaches and we don’t realise that when we are coaching there and after we used to make this mistakes, but we have more than two coaches close to the pitch. I said sorry for that.

"I don’t speak English. They need the help of Carlos and Diego Reyes as well. We make this mistake. Always, I feel I should talk English.

"Even if I understand a little English and can transmit ideas. I never find the time and tried to learn it a little bit more. When you work in a country which is not your own country, you are forced to speak the language of the country."

    Good morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

Klich's new contract will be a good move particularly if we don't go up because his value will be far greater. Not giving him a contract would mean he is worth peanuts as in the last year of his deal or worthless if he runs the clock down. All he players given new long deals are players who other clubs covet

EFL have screwed up even more regarding Jordan Stevens as they refused Kinnear's latest appeal for them to allow the club to offer him counselling for gambling and loneliness as they are worried about him. I believe the club have contacted his parents and offered advice but the EFL are so wrong on this it amazes me.

The EFL don't give a crap about Derby players driving pissed, even when their own fans boo them. Big Mick in an Irish presser said boys will be boys and you cant stop lads having a few beers to wind down. he was speaking about Keogh being absent from his squad.

New revelations coming out about the real Spygate between man City and Liverpool as City hacked into Liverpool's IT systems, will their fine be as much as ours pro-rata I wonder

    Have a great weekend everyone

Ell... all contracts these days have promotion/relegation clauses in them with salary adjustments accordingly.

Klich has done very well for us, deserves a new contract.

Bit late for that Davy... think the guys from ‘the thick of it’ might have that covered! Malcolm tucker was brilliant... think our pm’s current advisor modelled himself on him.

    Morning all...

I’d be more concerned if all these contracts were being allowed to run down and expire <ok>

Damn! Not on the fixture list I've got. Must have been postponed from early September. I'm off to Scotland to see my beloved Jags, so have to miss it.

WJ i looked last week and even last night because I had it in the sticky for the 18th, which I thought was dodgy. Then I saw the Taddy tweet and edited the sticky, but the next match is down for the 24th??? Must be a match missing from the list mate for next week

Is there an International break because that would make the fixture list correct again

    What an Omnishambles <laugh>
