Can't remember Shacks, but not sure how an impact causes a hamstring strain. Cooper turned to go after his man at a corner and immediately pulled up as I remember it, and they highlighted in the analysis, can't say I saw any impact but ready to stand corrected.

Cooper got absolutely whacked shortly before he went off. Think his attacker got a yellow, and he was on the deck for a good while with the trainer. I thought it was his leg myself at the time. The worrying thing was that he didn't move on the deck - usually a sign that it's serious. I guess it's possible that the groin was not injured in this clash, but perhaps it was a later compensation injury as he altered his gait to cope with the initial injury? Dunno. Can only report what we saw, as I didn't see the lead up to him going off.

Similarly with Shacks, we noticed him ride the tackle, then overstride a couple of times before carrying on & passing the ball. Next time he stopped, he was rubbing his upper left hammy. Getting clipped can cause sharp movement, especially at speed, and can jigger the hamstring. The fact that he didn't go off immediately led me to believe it wasn't serious. Got that wrong, though, didn't I? :D

As I said really didn't see what led to Shacks, but sky showed a slow motion of Cooper. WB corner, he is near to the 18 yard line with their player as the out swinging corner comes in and their man heads to the six yard box, Cooper turns to chase him and immediately pulls up holding his groin (doesn't get anywhere near to him and then goes down as soon as the ball is cleared / put out of play. Either way we are bloody unlucky with injuries unless training and constantly using the same 11 is putting too much strain on some players??

It was a compensation injury following on from the earlier incident a few minutes before. Nothing to do with overtraining. Can happen to any player of any club.

Remember when I was playing I did my left knee in but decided to try and persevere, only to do my right hamstring in <doh> from overcompensating.

All the championship clubs think they are good enough to get top 6,so clubs like millwall get rid, maybe some time back in league one will bring back reality.

To really help Millwall out, and for them to get a clear perspective, some time in League 2 would probably be beneficial?
