I’m fearing the worst for Saturday, and wouldn’t be surprised if this is our first tonking of the season. Fulham’s front 4 of Knockhaert, Cairney, Johansen and Mitrovic is the best in the league, and they’ve got Harry Arter in the middle pulling the strings. We have a few selection problems after the Swansea defeat. Purrington seems to be injured, leaving us with no cover at left back. Williams has got to start ahead of Oztumer in every game. And presumably Solly will be back for Matthews. It’s always a great day out at Craven Cottage, but I can see us losing 4-0 to Spotty Parker
Fulham are scoring plenty. I hope we can avoid a thumping, but cannot see past a defeat. If we lose by fewer than two clear goals I'll be surprised.
I’ve got match tickets. Serious, relevant comments only pls ...I know it’s difficult when you don’t attend the games...
That could be difficult. However, good to see you making the effort for a lunchtime game on the television
We'll take a hard-earned point from the Cottage, you mark my words. By hook or by crook Bowyer will come up with the goods.
……………. Phillips...……….. Matthews … Lockyer.... Pearce.... Solly ………..Pratley …. Cullen...…. … Gallagher....Williams... Leko.. .....………. Aneke…….......... Manager : Lee Bowyer Charlton to win 0-2
Meeting snr at Waterloo at 8 to get some beers. Hopefully I'll be too pissed to remember the game if it goes tits up
Looking forward to a good day out tomorrow alongside another 1,900 Addicks in the away end. I’m feeling some trepidation about the match itself. If Fulham score early and we have to open up, I have a feeling we are going to get a tonking.
I’ve just seen that pint sized w anker Keith Stroud is the ref tomorrow He’s the second most irritating midget I have ever met in my life. After ...
Team for today please ... Phillips Matthews Purrington Sarr Lockyer Pratley Cullen Gallagher Williams Leko Aneke I’m keeping faith will Dillon Matthews looked solid against Swansea Sarr is more mobile than Pearce, and can handle Mitrovic Pratley back to shield the back 4 Striking options are very limited, but Chuks on from the start to bustle up the Fulham defence. I’m travelling in hope but fearing the worst. We will either nick a 1-1 draw, or get hammered. If it’s the latter, I will be starting a Reams-like death threat thread at around 3pm this afternoon...
