For me Aneke did enough to earn a start on Saturday.

Yes, start at Fulham with Aneke & Williams.

The defence will have to play a lot better.

The defence is better with Pratley instead of Field. Makes a difference.

Frustrating night, Swans were decent, impressed with the numbers they brought, us chanting 'your support is fvcking sh!t' made me laugh, we wouldn't have taken half that amount there. Gallagher was wicked again, Aneke won plenty of headers when he came on so must start Saturday.

We are clearly struggling up front with Taylor injured (still on crutches last night).

Leko scored a good goal, but is a frustrating player.

Aneke seems only to be trusted as a lumbering brick sh1t house who comes off the bench.

And Bonne looks pretty average to be honest. He works hard and runs a lot, but there’s not a lot else to his game.

We are destined to get a few “0”s ....

Poor result overall. I would say given we were recently in tier 3 while the Swans were in the Prem not so long ago it was hardly a surprise, but a home loss always hurts. To be honest, the stats were kínder to us last night than against Leeds on saturday, apart from the obvious one, the goals scored column.
There is a bit of a problem emerging here though. We were told Bonne was one for the future. He may step on, but at the moment, that looks like a fair assessment, so it's a bit worrying we are starting him twice in a week against top level opposition. Injuries once again have us throwing youngsters in when they aren't ready. The defence leaked a couple of goals last night. Again, it's a problema, although the Swans are better tan many teams we will face this year. Three losses out of four is also a worry, with Fulham away at the cottage next up. As Royston points out, they have a front line selection worth more than even RD's valuation of our club. We really will need to pull out all the stops to get anything there. No need to go overboard, but at the same time, we could do with keeping the points coming, just to keep morale up. October was always going to be hard, and harder still with the injuries.

A lot depends on how the two Brighton players turn out. Pratley and Williams can't play every game, I don't know how long young Gallagher can play 90 minutes every game, Cullen could well be sold in January, same for Taylor. So we will need the two Brighton players to come good.

Took a deflection, nothing Dillon could do.

Defleclions like that catch the keeper off balance and make him look a bit slow, especially to anyone keen to see him dropped.

I thought we were bang average for the most part, and Swansea weren't much better. A poor game from where I was sat (at home). Still, we can trust in Bowyer to get a better tune out of his limited resources.

    Roll on Saturday...

Don’t agree I thought Swansea were better than us, in every department.

You are right, Dick: they were better than us in every department, but they are still a long way off troubling the likes of Leeds and West Brom. Mid-table for the Swans this year, methinks. I could be wrong, though... I normally am. And perhaps the TV didn't do Swansea justice.
