If his remit was to get loads of our youngsters out on loan then absolutely he has done the job. Just a shame that he didn't think that he should be sending them to clubs where they are going to actually get a ****ing game!!

 

Trouble is its a fine balance getting them to the highest level possible to get them ready to play for us and them being at too high a level to get games.

I find it utterly amazing that anyone still gives the slightest bit of attention to yet another Takeover story.

Mike Ashley has been spinning the same yarn for a decade now.
He will not sell the club while the Geordie public trudge into SJP every week or whilst Newcastle stay in the Premier League.
Even TWO relegations didn't convince Ashley that he doesn't know how to run a football club anywhere other than into the ground.

People really need to wake up.

 

I don’t think it’s that. I think he psychologically can’t and won’t sell. When has he ever sold a business? Ever?

He’s been trying a different tact of winning fans back this summer, “spending” £40m on a striker, employing a “Geordie”, painting the ground, spinning up interviews that preach of self deprecation and excitement at what lies ahead.

He’s going absolutely nowhere, ever, and the fans need a plan b.

Plan B is to stop going to games. It's working a treat!!

We're stuck with him and he will do whatever the **** he wants with us...there's **** all we can do about it. The club has been for sale pretty much since the minute he bought us. If nobody has wanted to buy him out in 12 years they never will. He's a **** to do business with by all accounts the only way he won't be in charge is if he pops his clogs.
