You could probably squeeze a few more teams in between Bournemouth and Saints. But we are better than pompey so thats something.
And don’t forget Ralph admitted that his 11 men missed an opportunity against 10 of Spuds so he was clearly not happy. The question is can he make a silk purse from a sows ear?
Yeah I know, I didn't even add Bournemouth in at first but thought it was worth it as someone might jump on it later
I have to admit, I've been willing teams to fail to keep a buffer from the start. I don't see that changing. And before you tell me, I already remember your excitement of the Swansea battle (fair play to you). But the 90's have made me respect the stomach churning battle, but I don't enjoy the tension. I'd prefer to be safe and watch others squirm........but its not going to pan out like that is it......
You have to admit something aint right that's for sure.............If we can see that our Defence is weak why cant Ralph and/or the bosses? What is it that Ralph sees and we don't.....? A bit baffling on that front to me.............
He can, he does know. But he has the added problem of shifting our previous solutions like Wesley. We can't keep adding £20M risks to the squad, and that is what we would be doing by entering the market to sort this. Our price range represents risk, we have to accept that.
Maybe because he doesn’t know what to do about it. No money perhaps or he doesn’t agree with the majority of the crowd. Who knows.........
Indeed. Yet again I failed to bite my tongue when someone who has played FM for about 100 hours thinks he’s a tactical genius. But read Saint John’s post again, then answer me this; seeing as we had 10 men in Spurs half for almost the entire second half, how does his “tactical analysis” make any sense at all?
I think it’s obvious we have a weak defence. I think it’s equally obvious that Ralph has tried all sorts of variations to improve it, and none of them have been particularly effective. What is in question is, have Ralph’s experiments made things better, worse, or about the same? I’m going with ‘about the same’, and not knocking the manager for trying things.
I just think you are a grown up and could address the points without attacking the poster. It is happening a lot and is an aspect of our society I really dislike.
Beddy, you asked why Ralph can’t see we have a weak defence. I asked why you assumed that he didn’t know. You then posted something odd asking who knows. I think we have a weak defence. You think we have a weak defence. You asked why Ralph doesn’t think that. I’m saying he probably does. You’ve gone on a bizarre route there.
