Full time 1-2 We are running out of gas. Beaten fair & square tonight by a superior Swansea team. Some of the players look tired, and Oztumer & Field were poor. It’s a reality check for the pro Duchatelet bedwetters over on ITTV- this squad is not good enough and we need to focus on finishing 21st this season. If we defend like that on Saturday Fulham will beat us 5-0.

GK should have done better with the first goal; looked as if his feet were in cement; deflection or not, he should have stopped it. As you say, rank bad defending for the winner. Cullen had one of his least effective games; Gallagher was doing the work of two players to make up for Cullen. Truth is, we lack the quality that you need in this division. Going to be a long season......
After the goal we didn't really bother them until we went direct near the end. Without Lyle or Williams our attack is predictable, although credit to Leko for a well taken goal. .Bonne is not ready for this level yet, but is promising. We were actually quite a small team, especially with Oztumer, who looks a poor player. I don't blame Phillips for the goal, the deflection made him look poor.
