His left leg. He’s peed off Ralph played him in the shade of left back the other week, so he needs to top the tan on that leg up
Shows how you can misread things. It sounded like a mystery about Cedric, whereas it was more a case of Ralph not knowing in detail what the problem was. Risks were taken with players in the far distant past (aka 'in my childhood'), but now any injury results in players being withdrawn from a game. The medical staff now take the decision not the manager. All sensible to me. It has been mentioned before that Ralph has a very detailed plan for games...a reporter mentioned lines all over the training pitch, but I think he doesn't quite have the players he needs to carry it out....unlike Adkins, Koeman and Poch. Hence, the reason that he doesn't have a fully settled team. He's a manager desperately seeking an answer. The team are willing, but some players may not be good enough and some are good enough, but a bad fit to the system. It's looking better and I can see us doing reasonably well this season, but real improvement may take longer than just the summer we all hoped for.
I got blasted for my comments on Hassenhuttl after the game and I stand by them. He managed this game disgracefully. Look at Bayern vs Spurs right now. 7-2 and Spurs are the home team. We played Spurs for an eternity 11 vs 10 with 3 centre halves plus Romeu on the pitch!!! Not good enough!!!
'end the existence of (something) by damaging or attacking it.' Yep, I reckon that the term destroy wasn't exaggerated.
3 centre halves plus Romeu vs 10 men. 2 players are redundant in that system making the game practically 9 vs 10 instead of 11 vs 10. I have every right to hammer Hassenhuttl, he was tactically clueless.
No but this result shows how far off the pace Saints are and Ralph must take some of the blame surely?
Of course. Read back and see that he has done things that I didn’t understand. I don’t go ranting that he has fecked up for a few reasons: 1. Our squad is not great 2. There is sh1t going on in the Boardroom 3. just because I don’t understand his decisions, doesn’t mean there isn’t a valid reason for them. I also disagree about this result showing how far off the pace we are. You mean Bayern beating Spuds 7-2 or Spuds beating us? Either way it doesn’t tel me that at all. Ok, let me correct that. It doesn’t tell me something I didn’t already know Did you think Saints were going to rock it this season?
I can't help feeling that Ralph got his tactics wrong........on top of that we didn't take our chances..........on top of that some players are having problems adjusting to Ralphs tactics...........So in my my mind it is both the manager and the team that have to take responsibility................We're only a few games in lets give the manager a chance for goodness sake............
