My un-professional opinion has always been that Bielsa is definitely ‘on the spectrum’. Personally, I don’t think his stubbornness or faith in his players as, often described, is driven by either of those things. It’s a kind of stubbornness - a belief that his method is right and his selections are right - but he believes if he get’s his prep and training right to the final detail, it will be successful... he’s a control freak. Changing players out of choice rather than necessity, creates uncertainty and reduces his ability to control what happens.
