Have Arsenal beaten English opposition this season? Conceding 4 goals against Blackburn must be hard to stomach, seeing as Blackburn hadn't scored 4 goals in their previous four games. After five games and 1 win and 3 defeats and a goal difference of minus 8, no team should really have aspirations of a top four finish. Well at least your title ambitions lasted longer than West Broms, theirs ended in August. Arsenals lasted until mid september.
It is true. Don't worry, tomorrow you'll be joined in the bottom 6 with your local rivals. You'll both have to re-address your ambitions for the season seeing as you both will have lost 3 out of the first five games. They initially started out as top four contenders. You should be at least aiming for a top 10 finish or if you go on an unbeaten run...a europa league spot.
Sorry lads but I'm with Ze on this one...although I did laugh at the 4-3 gag We haven't got much room to mock at the moment. Yes Arsenal were ****in awful at the back today but until we start showing we can stay in the top 4 each year and at least be challenging come the back end of the season (getting to cup finals as well) I think we should be concentrating on our own team and not revelling in other clubs issues. Plus I would imagine most Goons will be happy with a Liverpool win tomorrow
If people take offense from this harmless joke then they better take a look at their life and consider should they be using this forum if the get upset so easily. When someone tells me 'Liverpool are ****', 'Kenny smells of piss', 'Kenny looks like a tramp' etc I find it hard to take offense from something that isn't personal. As much as we all love Kenny, he isn't our dad and he most likely doesn't smell of piss so why take offense? It's part of football rivaly. Good joke nobleox, enjoyed that one.
It was a good joke, just wish he had posted it on the Liverpool board only. No harm done though. Good luck to the Gooners as long as the luck only extends to less points than us.
I would like to get one point across. I heard a load of horse **** that if Liverpool do get 4th ''They will by default''. This came from Goonies. What? You get what you earn and if it takes another club to have misfortune, then so be it. Arsenal and rightly so, benefitted from Liverpool being in a mess. I've no qualms with that whatsoever. Should Liverpool be expected to stand still whilst Arsenal are in a crisis? Maybe Arsenal fans think so. Sorry it doesn't work like that. Its a competition. I thought it was only Man United fans that didn't realise it is a competiition. Its dog eat dog. Liverpool should benefit from Arsenals crisis, and if they don't, it says more about Liverpool than Arsenal. Liverpool should be the ones criticised not Arsenal.
are you putting the arsenal ladies out on tuesday! there has been a lot of women's blouses playing so far this season. and the shrews build up continues
In light of our 4-0 humiliation, can someone please close this thread, before the gooners all give me grief
