Cumberland or Lincolnshire, British sausages are great when done well and the German stuff can be overrated despite their claims.

 

Proper German bratties are the food of the gods, especially in currywurst format.

 

Yeah done well they are nice but some can be bland. They have a funny attitude about sausages and beer, they seem to think theirs is the best in the world and nobody can say different. They're way off.

 

I lived in the vaterland for a number of years, I actually prefer German beer and a fair proportion of their scoff over English food and ale.

 

I agree in that some of the food is great and the sausages are really nice just that it's not something amazing like they make out. The beer is better than British no doubt but nowhere near best in the world like they think.
