Serious takeover talk

Is one of the issues not that it often takes a couple of weeks for companies house to be updated? There's a good chance that if anything does happen it'll be a while before we know (by which time they've hopefully already announced!). Mind, if anyone can sniff any changes out I'm sure it'll be GOM!

Aye, I like RTG like, but the takeover threads are just getting absolutely bogged down in bickering and bullshit, I find this thread a lot easier to follow and better to discuss things, place is canny

 

It's 2 weeks today so maybe if that is the case it may change later on or tomorrow?

As you say though if anybody will know GOM will.

The problem is that this lady has been extremely vague so I can't put it any other way.

I'd sent an email to her office address on Friday and she's just called me. She won't put anything in writing, which is fair enough, and would only mention a previous conversation we had a fortnight ago.

I was asking about the new company registration, at that time, and she's mentioned it and said things may crank up over the next few days.

No idea what that means but she seemed quite chipper considering it's Monday morning.

 

I'm sure if anything has changed it can be up to two weeks old, so IF there are new filings today then it would kind of confirm things are more advanced than was hinted at the weekend.

At least that's me being positive and hoping for good news

 

It's bonkers mate, got a long ban so just lurk reading for information but there's hardly any in the takeover thread anymore.

Reiv being banned didn't help but as you say just too much bickering and people trying to prove each other wrong. We're all Sunderland fans should be in it together not arguing.

 

Interesting news. I believe the best place on Companies House to be watching would be Madrox or Sunderland Limited - it's on of these companies that would have shares bought by Sunderland FPP so would reflect that change on.

To try to clarify mate ...

.... It was a rambling 5 minute call involving all kinds of stuff including a previous work project I was involved in. Companies House and things 'moving up a notch' were mentioned but that doesn't mean they're connected.

It could be something to do with shares but coming out through another channel.

I've no real idea tbh, it's just worth mentioning as, at least, it isn't a negative ... in fact nothing the Americans have done, so far, has been a negative.

Mebbe's people should remember that instead of relentlessly digging for negatives.

My work productivity dropped dramatically a few weeks back when the information came out from keep checking the Takeover Rumour thread

 

Exactly will be a bit gutted but it would be strange being gutted over something that never even happened but we would move on.
