Good performance from the young guns today ... real buzz around the King Power at the moment and everybody excited about the upcoming trip to Anfield ... one thing for sure, however we do this season the future looks even brighter
You can't really count these two since the have never played in the PL for you and are not yet really first team absences (who knows if they are going to be first team picks).
But Libbers, had the toon put one over us today they’d be above your boys and if you’re as honest as I believe you to be, you would have to admit that you were pretty dross on Friday night against a very average Bournemouth outfit but I agree with what you are saying about their fans, as they are amongst the best sets of supporters in the country imo and deserve a lot better from their team !
We paid over £20m for Sessegnon and lo Celso is on losn due to a sell on clause issue but it is believed to be a £30m-£35m signing in total. We dont usually spend that money on players for the bench.
Do you mean last Friday? Yeah we were ****e first half when we had a mismatched defence but much better second when we played players in their actual positions. Not sure of your point here though? Only one result has mattered in the past week. Bit harsh to call Bournemouth very average though, they're only 3 points behind you and have the same total as Spuds and Chelsea. Were robbed this weekend too.
City, Pool and Spurs will occupy 3 of the 4 CL spots at the end of the season The dogfight for 4th will be interesting though
Listened to the 2nd half of your game with the Spuds, sounds like it was only Lloris who kept them in it.
If Arsenal, Utd or Chelsea decided to pull their finger out, then Spurs could be up **** creek. Fortunately for you lot, they all looks as bad as they were last season.
Anyone else enjoy MOTD2 last night? .... I know I did..... .... bit of an anti-climax with the TV footie tonight ... a mid table mediocrity event by the look of it
I cant see United doing anything of note, they are all over the ****ing place. Arsenal and Chelsea both look great going forward, but are both a complete mess in defence. The team who takes a CL spot will be the one who sorts themselves the **** out at the back the most, and the the soonest.
You’ve spent about £75million adding to the squad that reached a CL final. If you don’t even qualify for it this season, that would be quite a spectacular fall from grace. For the record, I think you’ll finish third so it doesn’t really matter. But anything lower than that would be a failure.
The only prediction I will make is that Spurs, Chelsea AND Arsenal will finish above United. (As well as City and Liverpool of course). Other than that, two of Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal will take the 3rd and 4th places, pretty much the same as last season. Leicester MIGHT nudge themselves in there somewhere, but I cannot see Wet Spam keeping up with the top 4, they will trail off sometime before Christmas.
He made two very good instinctive saves. We couldn’t break down 10 men, which was a bit annoying. Spurs looked pretty ****ing decent tbf. Both their goals were well worked and superbly finished. Our supporters think it’s our manager’s fault we didn’t get anything because, let’s be honest here, most football fans are ****ing idiots.
And if Spurs pulled their finger out? We not exactly playing at our best So lets assume..we all pull our fingers out or we all keep them firmly up our arses...still leaves 1 spot for the rest
We've got Bellerin, Tierney, Holding and Chambers coming back. We'll have two proper full backs when they are are in the team and Holding is a ball playing CB, so that's another option for us. Our back four of Maitland Niles, Sokratis, Luiz and Kolasinac has been woeful as it's basically only Sokratis who can actually defend.
Dunno mate, that's assuming that Spurs have at least as good a season as they did last year. And even then you only scraped top 4 by 1 point. What I'm saying is that none of the teams other than the top two look very convincing.
