I suppose the South African video amused me, because in my younger days, I never held white South Africans in high regard and still don't tbph. I always found them, exactly as the song described in the video, arrogant. Obviously that was before the days of the black South Africans taking back their land.....but for me the vid summed up the whites perfectly. Politically correct brigade might not like it these days, but I can live with that.
I met a South African bloke a while ago who was around during that time and he was very apologetic about it and his involvement. He claimed that it was very difficult to understand as an outsider though, as growing up with the propaganda essentially brainwashed them. They were extremely isolated to the reality of the situation by their media and politicians, by his account. He still felt very guilty about it decades later and was very wary of similar messages as a result.
