I think I do have a point mate for this reason!
Just like you i would love England to be World and European champions, but I do not see how this is going to happen when our top teams dont feild any Englishmen in their starting 11!

You are right this does not help our National team, i dont feel City did this in the premier league, but then I would say that, so ill agree to dissagree with you on this matter.
The thing is though City is not a top club and never has been a top Club in England, does not have a great youth system in place yet.

Maybe i should of posted this on the Man U thread and asked them how they would feel if they didn't have one Englishman in their strting line up??

I think you could be right on this and im sure there was alot of debate on 606, I did not read sites like this then so thats why I have brought it up today!

Its a shame every club has fans that slag each other off, there is nothing wrong with a bit of banter but dragging things up from the past like that incedent is no good!

The thing i would like totalk about is what the FA can do about it and what the fans of the clubs want done about it??I think you could be right on this and im sure there was alot of debate on 606, I did not read sites like this then so thats why I have brought it up today!

Quite right too, the single ones should be out on the pull, not shopping on a Saturday evening.

    Club football >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> National football.

Who cares if they didn't have an Englishman in their starting team? Playing an Englishman doesn't automatically make your chances of winning higher. Arsenal lost because their defense isn't very good. Simple as.

Such as Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira, Kolo Toure, Overmars, Ljungberg, Pires, Lauren, Lehman, Petit and Fabregas you mean?

Or were you along the lines of Walcott, Jenkinson, Gibbs and chamberlain?

Arsenal is a 'top team' - Yes?

England's players are brought on by playing first-class football, in first-class teams - Yes?

Arsenal fields not one English player.

OP's point seems to be proven.....

Strange time to make this article. For a start this is not the first time a team has had zero English players in their team. Also Arsenal have the likes of Walcott,Gibbs,AOC,Jenkinson and Afobe in and around the squad.

If Arsenal really were a big club, they wouldn't have to keep borrowing their kit from Rotherham.

I'm not sure why this article was posted tonight, or why it needed to be posted on the Arsenal board, but I do know that accusing Hull City of playing anti-football in the Premier League is way out of order. We won at the Emirates playing attacking football, we played a Brazilian play-maker behind two strikers in a 4-3-1-2 formation, if that's anti-football, then I'm Doris Day.
