Soyuncu did have his worst game against you which was probably a given with Maguire lining up against him and the comparisons etc. He’s been fantastic otherwise. Evans hasn’t put a foot wrong for us and raised the level of whoever his respective partner has been but pace and age are against him.
They are shocking but tbf the only two teams I’d say would edge us out in numbers in a combined 11 would be Man City and Liverpool (I may be a bit biased but not drastically so given we have spent most of the season so far only behind the two of them).

Schar max and maybe longstaff are top players and almiron offers something im sure they would get games ..lets be honest all sides in this league have very good players... i unlike most toon fans didnt hate perez i think hes a decent player btw.

Almiron has pace but doesn’t seem to have an end result in terms of goals and assists if I’m right? Longstaff is good I agree, that’s more to do with the fact I think Maddison, Tielemans and Ndidi are growing into a top midfield 3, I’d only really change them for a top player at his peak and Longstaff is the same age as them. Nothing against him. Schar is good but our CB’s are performing really well at the minute. It’s more to do with how well our lads are performing I guess, would take something special to want to replace any of them right now other than in the wide forward areas.
I can’t believe how much abuse Perez got, he was top scorer wasn’t he or just behind Rondon? He did well to score 12 for your side last year as Benitez did set up negatively

Theres no doubt leicester are a better side and the side is winning, so none atm would get in , but over a season theyd get games i think.. its still very early im still hoping we can perform with our best players all finally available .. im hoping bruce plays almirin max atsu and joelinton because 3 of those have serious pace and that poses a problem if we can get the ball up that end and on the counter.. maddison out is a boost for us today ... lets hope its a good contest mate

That’s a bold statement. I’d say 5. This early doors analysis is baseless anyway, HIAG was banging on about Bournemouth being awesome for most of last season and they just ran into a brick wall and finished miserably bottom half.

Arsenal Pepe and Aubam(however it’s spelt) that’s it.
Man Utd there’d be some but certainly not 6.
Chelsea probably some but they have a young side as well so hard to judge.

Prove us wrong other than a rattle lolz :emoticon-0148-yes:

Probably games as part of the squad yeah. Think you’ll give us a tough time anyway but let’s hope rodgers has a plan :emoticon-0148-yes: (For us anyway)

I think its more the case that the other sides are better, but the bigger clubs still carry an arrogance that they should win every week.

Oh definitely yeah, we’ll still 9th when all is said and done. Just basing it on at the minute. Arsenal are just poor so wouldn’t take anything outside of a couple of their attackers, you lot have some good players but also some dross. I think Chelsea will get better and better and their ban is a blessing in disguise for them as it’s bringing the youngsters through. Spurs have good players approaching the end of the careers so there’s factors like that when I say I wouldn’t take all their players, it’s not just a baseless statement

I'd take maddison based on the few games played, but that's mainly because we have no real goal threat or creativity in the middle.

    Vardy as back up maybe.

I didn’t see much wrong from the clip I saw. He said he wants to play at the top level and will need to learn from these experiences and concentrate etc. Factually correct. Wilder has been the reason for their success the last few year and built a tight group and whatever he says in interviews I think his man management behind the scenes is likely top class

You’re one of the two quality sides in the league so of course you wouldn’t. I was talking about the rest.
