I don't think Hassenhuttl backs down that easy. He's a stubborn man. He would keep picking the side over and over if he considered it the best option.
So, right back gets injured and the reserve right back doesn't get a look in? What on earth is going on?
I struggle to accept that any side would throw their entire formation out of the window just minutes before KO. We've presumably not been practising a back three going into this game. But then again, I also struggle to accept the alternative of playing a CB at RB, rather than Valery. I still rate Ralph. But he really needs to sort of his thinking when it comes to the FB positions. It's like he can't help himself but go rouge.
As for Vestergaard, he's had some really horrid games for us so far. But arguably the worst of them all was Spurs at home last season. That said, Moura is only on the bench today and he as arguably the player who gave Jan the biggest problems in that one.
Valery must have severely blotted his copybook to be sidelined like this. I'd say oh well, in Ralph we trust...except I don't trust
