When I first joined the site, I was on loads. I was usually working long hours (9am til 11:30 pm), which gave me ample opportunities to browse the site, but which also caused the long hours as my productivity was so low. It essentially took over my working week, especially when I was involved in Mafia games. I changed jobs nearly four years ago, and the site is blocked by the company's firewall (for profanity reasons; can't imagine why...). As someone who's moved around a lot and also works in an area with relatively high staff turnover, I'm generally accepting of people leaving. Enjoy the time with them while you're together, move on when that time comes to an end. As much as it would be nice for MITO and several other posters from over the years to return, it's their decision and the world carries on without them. There's more to life than not606, and indeed than football. I have neither the time nor the inclination to sit and stream every Liverpool game; my direct watching of them is usually limited to MOTD. Hence one of my reasons for coming here still is just to try and get more insight from people who (purport to) see more of them. So while I still read the forum about once a day or so, I don't really post because I either have nothing to add, or the conversation's already moved on. Also, typing with a phone with German predictive text is a bitch (I've taken about 20 minutes for this post so far). Hence my contributions now being limited to a short joke every month or so. But it's still fun to lurk and listen to your conversations. #lifestory #summery
Also, maybe one of the reasons things are quiet is that we're actually doing quite well at the moment and there's less to discuss?

I'm sure following him over to JA, creating a thread about a 'girly flounce off' made no difference at all Mito's made a decision not to come back, just leave the man alone ..... imo.
Agreed he should be left alone. Also agree he won't be coming back, hence me thinking Gonzo's actions won't make a difference.
Well we all have different ideas about what we regard as humour. I don't believe for one minute that you think what you're doing will get him to post back on here
I don't care too much either way but sometimes a lack of giving a **** may make people think I'm being a bit sensitive and should give my self a shake and stop being so precious.
That's the thing with humankind, we're all different. One man's meat is another man's poison and all that ...... You don't know if there are any underlying circumstances in all of this. Yes it's a footie forum and a bit of a laugh but sometimes if there are other things going on in your life and it gets a bit ugly on here, it can affect you when most times it wouldn't.
