Going for a big Leeds win if for no other reason than that I failed to get an away ticket and decided not to go with good friend who's a Charlton fan because I hate being in home end for away match

But sounds like the home end will mainly be an away end anyway...

Done that a few times before and even when with people I know and at a friendly club still hate it - as much as I love watching Leeds the reality of watching a Leeds goal live and no limbs.....

<laugh> Just get front row seats so if you do get too excited you can leg it onto the pitch. My sis lived in Wimbledon back in the 80s and she got me a ticket at Stamford bridge when LeedsUtd came to town, unfortunately she got them in the shed end. I politely asked the nice copper to escort me to the Leeds Utd end.

My favourite used to be Wimbledon at Selhurst Park - as they just wanted the cash so would just sell on the gate on the day for the away end (half of stadium) regardless of whether you were a Leeds Away cardholder - how I got to see that Yeboah goal

What a goal that was. When I stayed in Wimbledon I got to Plough lane I think Millwall were playing them. Vinny was still playing for Wimbledon then. Everyone seemed be drinking Stella at the time.

I remember sitting in the Trent end with a mate (who was a Forest fan). He told me not to jump up if Leeds scored. Forest went 1 - 0 up early on and I stood and politely applauded whilst my mate laughed at me. Game went on and Brian Deane nicked an equaliser with about 10 minutes to go. I dived out of my seat and landed on a couple of fans in front of me. Realised what I had done and started blaming the defence for all Forests problems and stormed out of the ground stating "I can't watch anymore of this ****!" Just about got away with it.

I don't go in home ends anymore.

EDIT: Just checked this game and Deane scored in the 66th minute! Was a long time ago, 1997. Team was an interesting one.

    Nigel Martyn
    Gary Kelly
    Lucas Radebe
    David Wetherall
    Tony Dorigo
    Gunnar Halle
    Lee Bowyer
    Lee Sharpe
    Derek Lilley
    Pierre Laurent
    Brian Deane

    Subs.
    Rod Wallace
    Carlton Palmer

How the hell did Pierre Laurent or Derek Lilley get in in front of Wallace? This must have been when George Graham was trying to fit as many centre halves in to the team as he could. I have programs from that era where I can't remember going to the game at all. Not through drink I may add but through sheer boredom. Was that the year Portsmouth knocked us out of the FA cup quarters at Elland road?

For all I've advocated not making any changes it's perhaps worth noting that part of that reasoning was that they would happen anyway. This happened with Forshaw picking up his knock and now it's Hernandez who misses out due to being on the treatment table.

So today with Forshaw hopefully returning it's Costa who will get his chance to stake a claim for the shirt. This is a totally different scenario to a young player such as Shackleton who can keep coming in and out whist he's developing as a player.

It's massive pressure on Costa to be fair but I'm really hoping he shines, we win the game and in the process he makes himself undroppable.

We have kicked off here and we are three up and just got a penalty......... Missed it hitting the corner flag.
Been having some refeshment with davy and his lovely wife this morning. Been telling her about the characters we meet at the meet ups. It seems davy forgot to tell her about trannygate.

I see that whineing twat lampard is moaning about Bielsa getting a fair play award and also believes we should have put the ball out in the Villa game. FFS I hate that lad, I don't usually wish death on anyone, but oh how I wish that tree those derby pissheads smashed into was actually that horrible **** lampard.<grr><grr><grr><grr>

Hi guys hoping for a win today 0-2 hoping more than anything that Costa gets off to a flyer. He always seems to need 30 or 40 mins to get going
