It may surprise you that I actually voted for Brexit. I'm not lying about being neutral. I truly am. I really don't have a clue about the pros & cons. It's not that I don't have the intellectual capacity to crunch numbers & concepts - it's just that everything is absolute guesswork - as the IMF, for instance have proved. Imagine the most respected & revered Financial Institution in the world getting it horribly wrong. So what chance did I have? And yet I have all sorts of clowns who can't spell 'economy' telling me they know better than me. They don't. They think they do. But there's a big difference between fact & hope. A bit like the people who tell you that you'll love a movie. And you don't.

Real reason I voted Brexit? It's predictable, if you know me. As recommended by my party, it's my tiny contribution to the Scottish Independence movement. Simple as that. Laughable, perhaps, but at least it's principled.

It the remoaners won a second referendum, of course they would accept the result. "Thats democracy" they would cry.

Aahh, so you were one of those people who didn't know what they were voting for<whistle>

But, just the fact that child killing warmonger Blair campaigned to stay in the EU would surely make any right minded person to vote the other way

Yes, like everyone else who voted, not one of us knew. A lot thought they knew, and indeed still think they know. But they don't. They think, hope, opine or aspire. They definitely don't know.

Will those who 'actually' know will be able to detail our economic performance over the next decade? Will they fukk. As I said, even the IMF humiliated themselves by claiming they knew. Not even close.

And please don't mention Bleugh! Even he must eventually get something right in his lifetime. Poor basturd has been in shock since the first day he woke up with her lying beside him! :D

Oh, so you know, do you? Perhaps you could give us an economic forecast for the next decade, based on 3 possible outcomes - Remain, Hard Brexit, & Negotiated Brexit.

Indeed, why not publish, because the 'experts' and the politicians haven't a clue either. Everything starts with 'we believe', which is a lie - if they were honest, it would be 'we hope'.

I highlighted in your post why I said, 'speak for yourself,' I know why I voted, but you have stated you voted but hadn't a clue why, I can't understand why someone would vote if they didn't know what they were voting for
you can look back on my comments on here why I voted to leave
And if, as you say, the experts and politicians haven't a clue, well. they're no better educated than me or 17.4m plebs on the subject:emoticon-0105-wink:
