Just a quick sentence will do. I'm not preconceiving anything.

You have your version and seem very unwilling to consider others, and I've no intention of disappearing down your rabbit holes. :emoticon-0128-hi:

As I said, go back and read the posts already made. It doesn't harm the environment.

I wish the climate had gone on strike today. It was more than just typical Hull Fair weather.

It is very funny how she's got you chaps all wound up though.

Some of you have been fishing for ****ing years and haven't upset anyone really.

This young lass comes along and the blood pressure goes through the roof <grr> <laugh>

Well I'm going off the version that's there, I haven't invented anything and added it in. I wasn't aware I'd started chucking bits in to liven it up?

For ****'s sake, and they said conversation was dead. Imagine for one second that I've just walked into the pub and for some unknown godforsaken reason you were invited and I wasn't there before you, could you quickly catch me up on what you'd said in a nice succinct phrase? Or would you refer me to the CCTV? Is this hard? Am I asking a complicated question?

If you walked into a pub, barged in to a conversation and expected everyone to start again for your benefit, I doubt you'd get a more polite response than you're getting here.

If you're too lazy to even read the conversation you claim to want to join, forgive me if I doubt the depth of research you're liable to have done on the issue.

That's disappointing. I'm the first on the guest list and I'm going to guess that you've got nothing and I asked the wrong guy. For what it's worth I didn't believe that humans could have any appreciative effect on our climate so spent a lot of time researching why I was right, and found out I was wrong.

If you read the thread, you'll see why you've made an inaccurate assumption on my position right there, and no, I'm not going over it again with someone too lazy to take a few simple steps themselves. :emoticon-0105-wink:

But not too much, we don't want to use up what's left of the oxygen.

See, there's you with 'People' some other thread with the Express and others sounding like the guy that used to wander the South Stand flogging the "deah maiya."

The media seem to be infiltrating everything.

But what is she saying that we don't know? almost everyone already knows that some of the things we do are bad for the planet, the animals, mankind etc. Does she have any answers? does anyone?

I have said a couple of time that the problem is unimaginable in it's complexity, every action taken has a knock on effect, one step forward can easily end up being 2 steps back.

Okay, I'll go read the thread. But it would have been easier if you'd answered my question. I don't know why you're being so defensive but I guess I'll read a statement you've made followed by the word 'but'. You owe me sixpence if this is the case. :emoticon-0148-yes:

You showing a tiny bit of manners, initiative and effort really isn't a favour to me. :emoticon-0113-sleep

I don't read the papers, they use far too much paper.

And my main point that keeps getting ignored is, once past the soundbites and preaching, how many of those hopping on the band wagon, are prepared to accept the consequences of the proposed measures? I've nailed my colours by saying I am.
