Not my thoughts. That’s the British constitution. If their constituents aren’t happy they vote them out at the next election.
What about if they join another party, who not a single person who voted for them wanted, and then they refuse to have an election.
Well I can honestly say I’ve never heard so much humbug in all my life. Apologies to anyone offended by the inflammatory word ‘humbug’.
Except of course they don't. Looking at the latest comres poll - actually online rather than say an image on a dodgy youtube video shows no record of 60% of the population supporting Boris' plan. You do however find that; 60% say that parliment has had enough time debating brexit and we should leave the EU. Also in the same poll some things you don't mention That 31% of people would be pleased if what was to happen next was we held a 2nd ref, followed by 28% that we remained in the EU. 21% of people would be pleased if we left with a deal and again only 21% of people would be pleased if we left without a deal. So not 60% of people supporting Boris' plan. By a ratio of about two to one, the British public agree that the Supreme Court was right to rule that Boris Johnson’s prorogation of parliament was unlawful (50% agree vs 29% disagree). So again not supporting Boris' plan and hardly as if recalling backfired. https://www.comresglobal.com/polls/the-telegraph-snap-poll-september-2019/ https://www.comresglobal.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/The-Telegraph-Tables-Snap-Poll-Sept-2019.pdf Here's a couple more polls to knock yourself out with
