....slag off Robert Koren, for being lazy, for disappearing - the man puts in a shift (I think). But he scores our goal. It's our first 3 wins in a row since 2008...... The KC 'bogey' is, hopefully, banished. UTT! UTFT! TFFT!
thats why i dont slag off the players as they can always come and prove you wrong hopefuly this will boost him and help him play better and consistently haha
funny thing he was still quite when on the right, was only when he played on the left side he looked a different player;]
I have to disagree. Despite two brilliant efforts inside the opening 12 minutes, I felt he disappeared as per usual. But to be honest, if he can do that on a reasonably frequent basis, I see no need to drop him.
His wife gave birth this week and he's been a regular captaining Slovenia so maybe these two things have drained him a bit as he is in his thirties now. One thing for sure, I don't think you would see Craig ***an scoring a goal like that so there's another nail in the coffin of the '***an better than Koren' debate!
beat me to it, was going to compliment city winning with a ***an-esque strike he did drift in and out, as he always will do on the wing, won the match when on the edge of the box, 20 yards out, a place he would find himself much more frequently, if played in the centre.. good performance from city today i thought, enjoyed it.
He didn't "put in a shift", as such. Not like you'd know as you don't bother going. Good goal though, and if he does that more often I guess I can forgive him for disappearing.
You've obviously never played football have you? What do you expect, it's not humanly possible to attack, tackle back, defend, create and swap wings thoroughout 90 mins. He was class today, he's a creative attacking midfielder not a box to box Roy keane
N you didn't offend mate, it's about being realistic. That's half of the problem with city supporters, some think we are Man U crossed with Barcelona. It's little old Hull City we are talking about, a mainly third division side.
Considering his comment was simply agreeing with mine, I feel obliged to respond. I have played football all my life, but I never suggested that he needs to 'attack, tackle back, defend, create and swap wings throughout 90 mins.' I never even mentioned anything about his defensive abilities. All I said was that he disappeared after his goal. For you to respond to my comment in that way really should be the definition of putting words in someone's mouth.
Koren is a luxury player, no doubt about it. Can change a game with a goal like that today, did it plenty of times last season and I personally think he is a quality player when he is on his game. However I think this season he seemed to have died off a bit so far, but proved today why he should be in the team. He comes across very lazy off the ball, but when he is on it he looks up all the time looking to feed the ball in through the defence, and has plenty of shots himself. Pleased to see that his goal my be in for 'Goal of the Day' on Sky Sports! Congrats on the new kid too, well deserved win for the tigers, onwards and upwards!
Perky you ****wit - I've told you at least twice before: I'm a pensioner, living 130 miles away, in Norfolk. What part of "****ING DENSE!" do you claim for your very own, you anal twat?
Since when has a 'playmaker' become a luxury player i don't get this..... If he is played in the middle where he can get on the ball far more often he is a class act and i though in games like Preston last year in the middle he was brilliant. Obviously Cairney has being playing well so its hard to get him in but when Stewart comes back we could have one hell of a midfield...
Yes he did and yes, if played centrally he would find himself in those positions more often. However it is likely that he will still be in those positions as the other team are counter attacking or taking a corner...
