What's the name of that metal music where the singer basically just grunts/growls? My newphew is a guitarist in one of them. Been to see him a couple of times. Really not my cup o' tea at all. Shame really. They did a cover the the Manic's "Kevin Carter" where they actually sang for a change and it was excellent.
Nah it's coz i don't like it when some people on this forum don't realize obvious sarcasm lol, not you but others.
The Gun Club, Dinosaur JR, Shellac, Drive Like Jehu, Clutch, Sublime, Butthole Surfers, Fugazi, Operation Ivy and Danzig. In no particular order of course.
Accept Candlemass The Cult Faith No More Forbidden Helloween Judas Priest Mercyful Fate Mustasch Sacrifice Wolf 11...so what
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's ****. You should be happy your nephew is playing the music he likes. Death Metal bands are usually the more talented, because they cover rock/jazz bands and do a good job. They may not play the music you like, but they have the talent to do any type of music. Just be happy for him.
Lighten up Emo kid. Not only am I happy for him I also go to his local gigs (work permitting) to support him. That brand of music, as I said, is not my cup o' tea. I did appreciate his skill when the band did a cover of something I recognised. Now, little man, go fix yer mascarra.
Is there some kind of underground war going on between emo's and death's that we should be aware of? Kinda like vampires v's werewolves as wot goes on in real life?
I ****in knew it. Do you also send each other encoded messages disguised as really really really really badly written books like "Twilight"?
**** sake, monaco, do you know **** all about what goes on in real life? The emo kids are a cult started by Rod hull. Rod Hull fooled us all. He acted like a nicey jokey person with his silly puppet but was all the while brain washing the youth of this once great nation. Michael Parkinson uncovered the truth and was viscously attacked on his own TV show. But yet again, Hull the evil genius, made that look like comedy. Parkinson retired shortly thereafter.
But Parkinson had the last laugh - he had the brains to phone a TV aerial repair man rather than venture on to his own roof to try and fix it. It was a bit out of order that he turned up at the funeral and presented a brochure for Cable TV to Hull's family though
