Like you say, if you have a problem with it, challenge what she's saying and let's see the evidence to the contrary.

Are you aware that the agreed position on climate change in the 1970s was that we would be heading for an ice age by 2000 ?


As others pointed out humans are ****ing up the planet and we should limit the use of fossil fuels and plastic.

The politics behind the Green new deal is all about a power grab , climate taxation that doesn't get spent on eco projects and Globalism.

Using a mentally Ill child to push the agenda is extremely cynical.

We need to have the debate with experts not emotionally charged kids.

Some recording in the decades leading up to the 70's that were for a cooling planet, but they were quickly replaced with the global warming model once the evidence gathered to the contrary.

The facts are that in 1970, there were around 6 times as many scientists predicting a warming rather than cooling planet.

I'm doing some things to try and take action. It's small scale of course, but my opinion is that if everybody makes small changes then collectively it makes a big difference.

 

You are not a climate scientist you know about as much as anyone what will happen in the future , so don't waste your time telling me I stole your childhood and I should be ashamed.

Unless Greta is going to sail to China and tell them to stop making things or driving cars then I can't see much point in yelling at UN delegates.

I'm not a climate scientist you're right. I am reading what the climate scientists are saying though. Until I see some evidence that they are wrong, then I think we need to act on what they are predicting.
