The Monza was a big engined coupe, Vauxhall launched the Carlton and Senator off the back of it. I think your girl could have had a Mark 1 Cavalier coupe GSI, which was loosely based off the Opel Manta.. Good taste she had like, you carrying a torch for this lady?

it was deffo an opel but looked like a "cool" version of a Cavalier .

Pedal but had a cool Sanyo cassette player in it...that was the Magnet.

 

My mate used to have an Opel Manta, we used to call it an Opel Banter, but was like ****ing **** off a shovel. He was only just 17 when he got that car too. It's a wonder we didn't all die in **** off crash in that.
