My train leaves at 21. 43 so I can't afford penalties. You going to Lincoln mate, whole day on the train for us.
Its nice to see a host of changes and other players getting given a chance. Id have probably had Grigg in instead of Maguire though. Sitting on the bench is doing him no favours at all! I dont even care about the outcome of this game so this would have been an opportunity to give him some game time.
Like to see Embleton play out wide tonight and have a good game, and maybe free up MacGeady to move into a more central role behind the main striker, be it McNulty or Grigg in our up comming league games.
Still no sign of Watmore and we're already nearly into October. The end is nigh for him i think unfortunately
Moore, L. Freeman, Robinson, Morrison, Jagielka, K. Freeman, Stearman, Bryan, Mousset, Osborn, Bešić. Subs: Verrips, Stevens, Fleck, Basham, McBurnie, Norwood, Clarke.
His explosive pace will be no where near what it used to be, and that used to be his strongest asset. Hes missed out on far too much development over the years now, so unfortunately even if he does get over his injury nightmares, he'll never become the player he could have been.
As for Watty he still looked sharp the last time he played, so while there,s life there's hope, Nil Desperandum.
recon your right there mate, i would hate to work out how many games he has played at what cost per game, seems the lad is always injured nice lad shame about the sick notes.
Didnt play for the U23's in their last game so he might be injured, or on his way out maybe due to his contract dispute.
If Grigg can't score against Bolton what chance would he have here. It also looks like Kimpioka has already 'gone' ....
