The politics thread

The problem I have with tactical voting is that being in a Turdy majority area the Labour candidate stands as much chance of getting in as Gary Glitter being employed at Disneyland. The option always seems to be voting tactically and putting down your cross next to the Liberal candidate. My problem with that is the c.unts in the Liberal party joined up with Call Me Dave Cameron to wheedle their way into power. And look what bleeding use that turned out to be with Clegg having to go back on every manifesto pledge.

Alternatives are no better, the Brexit or UKIP parties are all utter c.unts and I voted Remain.

Sad to say but I don't see things improving with Labour for decades, Corbyn has had a taste of being in charge and is in no hurry to let it go. If there was an election tomorrow and Labour still lost he'd be hanging on claiming that the majority of Labour members voted him in so he's staying. I can't see any worthy alternative from within the ranks either.

There used to be a bloke in my mate's street, that everyone called "Tree-Hater". During the summer months he would hang about out the front of his house, accosting passers by and regaling them with the story of his battles with the council regarding the tree outside his house. He took great personal affront to the presence of this tree, which he was convinced was going to cause his house to collapse one day. Not sure if it ever did,

I have heard far worse reasons given for voting this way or that, tbh.

I will vote Labour because I always support the team in red. The team in blue is invariably the ****ish team, and Saints beat Pompey 4-0 in their own ****ty stadium last night. So it all makes sense.
