Well done Saints on a very good win. I am happy for everyone on the board. Now make progress and beat the mighty Tottenham.
My first day in a new job today. I normally don't sleep well in strange surroundings (it's residential training) but I slept like a baby and woke up with a huge smile on my face. Get in Saints. So so happy
I couldn't sleep at all after that. It was like going to bed on Christmas Eve knowing that under the tree is exactly what you asked for all year.
I think it's amazing what modern science us capable of these days and should be applauded. A love child of not only Jonny Vegas and Ian Dowie, but mixed with the Peter Beardsley gene pool too. Wonderful stuff.
Still buzzing. Ingsy, 2 goals, celebrates in front of the inbreds, absolutely flattens their player. What a legend.
Whats all the fuss? We only won 4-0...............It was only Pompey after all.........So what's so special.........Heh Heh...............Now lets beat Chelsea 4-0 then we can brag...........
So we go into the Spurs game riding high while they have been humiliated. That thread needs planting asap. Lots to talk about.
In the EPL. Getting up the league. The target should be 50 points. As for the Caribou Cup, I hope it is not Manchester City or Liverpool after such a glorious night. Crawley at home would do nicely!!! And Spurs fans might want to remind everyone else about their progress in the CL!!! Something that Saints fans can only dream about. That said, it is great for Colchester and I hope they land Liverpool away. Their fans deserve it.
One of the funniest things last night was about 15 minutes after the final whistle a Pompey fan came on the pitch, and walked over to our end giving it all that. Took about a minute for any steward to turn around to see what we were 'reyyying' at. Matey then walks (literally) off the pitch before realises that they're on to him and breaks into a jog before being caught by a steward. Then he's led out of the North stand immediately to our right. Wonder how that ****'s feeling this morning Sha la la...
Hope it was not too intimidating for the fans last night. I recall the horror from a dozen or so years ago when Saints fans were in the ground for well over an hour as the forces of law and order had to restrain huge mobs of mindless louts, no doubt encouraged by the thugs watching close by, before SFC fans could be let out.
I wonder how much the policing cost last night. I haven't seen that many in one place since 2004's bumper christmas free for all at the Hilton. Did we have to draft them in from other counties?
