I always wondered what it was like to be an Arsenal fan under George Graham.. and it's growing on me.. hard to beat aren't we? Chester is going to be watched now by the big boys..

To be fair, we created many chances, Pompey keep Ashdown really kept the score down for them & Waggy's goal should have stood..

Eventually someone will get a tonking..

Keep it up Nige and the lads, 1-0 to the Nigel Pearson..

Was Waggy actually onside? I was at the opposite end of the ground.

We need to learn when to get the shot off though, we complain about Fryatt but half of the team is just as bad, today noticeably Koren in the second half.

But hey, can't complain, a third successive victory and a third successive clean sheet.

UTT

Some numpty has just called up RH with a "Pearson out" rant.. whinging about lack of goals, saying Pearson is "clueless & uninspiring with his substitutions".. and this is after winning 3 on the bounce! amazing..

Probably Tigersteve or somebody like him- we have a percentage of these kind of knuckleheads following us it seems. 8th in the table now and four points off the top, won't stop some of our pig-thick support moaning.

We're progressing nicely aren't we, tight, disciplined and organised. Good times to be a city fan again. Three wins in a row for the first time since 2008. UTT!

Jameslodge is one of the most pathetic, either an egg-chaser or a Leeds fan, I don't read any of his comments when I see the name.

He was spouting his usuall **** on the fails comentary thing saying to pompy fans he gonna be down next weekend to so he will meet up to celebrate their win the tool hope he comes to wareham ill show him my opinions on his stupid comments lol

The sad thing is there was a decent fan called James Lodge posting on the Fail a few years ago and this numpty has taken his identity. Hope he comes here to be torn to shreds.

How were Waghorn and McLean today?

Personally I thought Mclean was outstanding. He actually won most of his headers today and made some great runs, my MoM. Waghorn had a goal wrongly disallowed but other than that he was very average. He showed glimpses of a great player and I heard great reviews of his last performance, so maybe he was having an off day.

I felt that Waghorn was a bit Brady-ish. Often tried to do everything by himself and when he did play the pass it was too late.

Basso safe performance not a lot to do = 8
Rosser solid, looked a little tired second half = 8
Chester, beyond his years = 9
Hobbs, getting better and better = 9.5
Dudgeon, some crunching tackles, like alot = 8.5
McKenna, solid and safe = 7.5
Cairney, some good challenges, keep it up = 7.5
Brady, needs to read the game and release = 7
Koren, excellent people need to accept the brilliance = 8.5
Waggy, strong, good goal!, will get better = 8
McLean(4England) gave 120%, what a jump! = 9
