Just got in from work and watched the goals, time to find the full match and watch that, sounds like it was a good game. Also, sorry about Given making those saves, that's my fault for dropping him to the bench for this week on Fantasy Football <wah>

Yeah you should definitely try get to see the full thing, we were brilliant. Don't know if I can possibly be more in love with Cabaye right now <applause>.

I think Pardew's subs were alright...I'd have liked to have seen them made earlier, but as we were still creating chances and playing well at the 65 minute mark I can understand it to an extent.

Obertan has out and out pace that other players don't. Marveaux is great with the ball (as we saw) but not sure he can break as well as Obertan. If he had more confidence and was willing to play first time passes he'd be a lot better!

Ameobi was brought on so we could play 1 man up front and the 2 strikers were tired (I think he left Ba on, just to see the dynamics between Shola and Ba) and as I said before the match, Sammy is all about impact. 10 minutes longer next time though please!

Obertan would be more suited to a 4-3-3 formation with him playing RWF, on the break all he has to do is run and pick someone out which is what he clearly favours to do. He's good for us though and as the season goes on I'm sure he can become a better player for us.

Is that the one that supports Middlesbrough or Sunderland.

Can see why we are last to be honest, being the only draw of the day. Annoying though but still, it makes sure I won't miss it because of the boxing :p

They really don't. It's just 3 promoted teams got wins, and comfortably in QPR/Swansea's case, and the Blackbrun game was a cracker. Don't know much about the Everton game but 4 goals is 4 goals.

Not sure why so many of our fans are so paranoid.

    This <ok>

Our game was the most uninteresting from a neutral view, it had the least goals and was the only draw.. I don't mind being put last if there's a genuine reason like this!

Did you watch the game it was a good game between 2 decent teams, which we deserved to win.

Yes, I did. And it was. But did you watch the other games to judge their entertainment level to compare to ours? I doubt it.

Perhaps our game was better than another that's ahead. Or perhaps it wasn't, but as curly hair said, from a neutral perspective ours seems the most uninteresting.

To be fair the producer is known for not liking Newcastle and they do watch all the games. 21 shots on goal for an away last on match of the day seems strange to me.

To be fair mate it's a very fair point. Our game was the only draw and we had the fewest number of goals. Many teams also had their first wins and there were a few surprise away wins.

Looking at it from an unbiased point of view, I can't see any match which I'd put our match in-front of.

Just watched the match. Liking the play between Ba and Best, just a shame they're both offside prone, hopefully the partnership can develop well though. Very impressive from Cabaye, being used more offensively as I wanted to see, and Tioté is making his way back to godlike form. Would like to see Marveaux start a good soon, fitness dependent of course, he did well when he came on and was used centrally, where he prefers to play.

To be fair today is the first matchday for quite a few years when all three promoted sides have won so they obviously want to make a theme of it. As the lowest scoring game and the only draw it is a fair enough decision.

Doesn't excuse them for past occasions when they have snubbed us though! ;)
