We've got a long way to go until we're as low as we were last Christmas (I gave you my... never mind), in the bottom three having just lost to West Ham at home. And look where we ended up! Like you say Madness, we need to find that tempo and gel, then the consistency will come.

FFC your comment to early to panic, totally disagree the matches played were against the possible
bottom 10 prem finishers.Panic in my opinion very much so.
I thought this season was one for improvement7/9th finish, but having seen all our home games and one away,
and without doubt this is the worst batch of performances since RH first took over.

That may or may not be the case, roscafre, and you have the advantage over me in that I've been mostly following from a distance rather than seeing the games in person. But from what I've heard, here and elsewhere, the results have been a lot worse than our actual performances. While the league table looks grim tonight, and probably no better come Sunday night (but you never know...), I still think there are signs of hope, and I don't expect us to be so lowly when we get to the business end of the season.

Mate, we've changed manager in the summer, again, and he's totally changed how we play. I think expecting improvement on a very credible finish last season is a bit much. This season should be written off as transitional, IMO.

Roscafe, I understand where you are coming from and have watched already all home games since June and one away. At times we have been worse than Sanchez but trying to stay positive. The results are all over the place not only for us but for other teams. Think is the start of the season. Don't really buy in easily the change of manager but even if that is the case I think we are too slow to start as Captain posted in a previous post.

My only worry is midfield. Everyone, including myself, were shouting for CF and RB. I see Murphy being a problem this year. He is getting tired and Jol keeps him in. Because we are Fulham I am expecting a surprise game today!
