Probably local West Ham fans from the sounds of some of the chants. To the surprise of absolutely no one who saw the teamsheet, it looks like we need another attacker out there. Parrott's not experienced, Alli's having to drop deeper to create and Lucas can't run through everyone. Not sure who I'd risk throwing on though, there's some pretty poor challenges going unpunished out there.
Watching Wanyama is sad ... he is a shadow of the player he once was. Genuinely forgot Dele was on the pitch. Final ball is poor and once again we insist on trying to play through a packed defence rather than go round the back. Playing with width worked so well v Palace but that has been the only time we have done so all season.
Think we’ll need to take one of Wanyama or Skipp off (preferably the former). Get either Eriksen or Lamela on, those two are the types who can unlock packed defences. Three CBs and two DMs really is unnecessary against a League 2 side.
Definitely. A few Goons in there too, but far less. They tried a What Do You Think of Tottenham chant and it died on it's arse.
No chemistry in the side but that isn't surprising given they have never played together. Skipp, Alli and Wanyama have been really wasteful. Parrott's movement is superb - clearly needs to work on the final decision but there's a player in there. Dier and Tanganga have played well, both looking confident on the ball. KWP and Davies offering almost nothing down the flanks. The latter in particular has been woeful. As has Alli. Lucas our best player.
