Didn't see it on TV but have a few DVD's and most of their CD's. Watch & listen to them frequently and just do not get board.
Simply a magnificent band and hopefully my one and only regret when I visit my death bed is that I did not go the see them live when I had the chance at Earls Court in the 90's. Chose to go to a stupid football match instead! UnFuckingbelievable <doh>

Never saw them on the box but have lots of respect for them, got most of their stuff and they're great.

However, not everything now is ****e (although agree most of it is). I'm well into Steve Mason at the moment, have you heard him? He's great - a bright light in a pool of turgid toss.

Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdSxIuk0hTI&ob=av2e, his last single, and also check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_cdDmqvkpV4 when he was called King Biscuit Time. He's great live - highly recommend it. For any geeks he used to be the lead singer of the Beta Band.

Beta Band were an amazing band. Saw them a few times. The other members formed the Aliens which are OK too.

Syd Barret era Floyd was the best!

Anyway, the Tranmere games starts now. Better get the Chairboys player on :)

Haven't seen them but when I was in France property hunting I was in a bar with my son in Périgueux and there was a Pink Floyd tribute band live (Encore Floyd) and they were brilliant. Lead guitarist was from Hartlepool but the rest were French. Sat with them chatting for ages during their break and after. Great night.

Australian Pink Floyd are worth watching too <ok>

Seen them 2 times, another band is Think Floyd, close your eyes and soak it up - Really good.

Both tour the UK every two years or so

Saw Queen a few times, last time was Wembley Stadium for the Magic Tour - sensational.

In a strange twist of fate, as I was a mega Queen fan, Freddie died on my birthday. Ever since it has not been possible for a birthday to pass without feeling a little sad :emoticon-0101-sadsm

I could have seen PR with the other 3 but decided it could never be anywhere near the same.
I have seen clips of Queen with PR and now know I was right, It really could never be the same. Freddie was a complete one off. Superb range to his voice and an incredible front man that was adored to the core by the crowd.

This was highlighted in the 1984 Live Aid gig at Wembley. Queen stole the show and that was pretty much down to FM

    So true.
While Roger Taylor, Brian May & John Deacon maintain their 'godly' status, even with George Michael taking over the front man role (Which was widely rumoured at one stage) Queen could never be the same.
