I never quoted, ~ ' planes falling out the sky' I actually wrote ' the planes will fall out of the sky because they have nowhere to land' this was to counter the allegation that there was no agreement for our planes to land at EU airports, just to put the record straight.
Rob - the "project fear" notion that the UK is like a turkey voting for Christmas in leaving without a deal is more than equalled by saying the other EU countries by allowing it to happen are like lemmings looking for a cliff. There are far more the other side of the channel ****ting themselves that it will happen rather than those who really want it to. I'm convinced that a deal of sorts will be agreed to allow us to leave on 31st October.
(projected) POPULATION OF THE UK …. .......0 to 15 years (%) 16 to 64 years (%) Aged 65 and over (%) UK population 2006 ….... 19.2 ………..…. 64.9 …………..…..... 15.9 ...…………….........60,827,067 2016 ...........18.9...…………. 63.1...……………….. 18.0 ...........................65,648,054 2026 …... 18.8...………….. 60.7 ..................…...20.5 ...........................69,843,515 2036 …….. 18.0 ............…...58.2 .........……...….23.9 ......................…..73,360,907 2046 ......….17.7 ............…..57.7 ..................…...24.7 ........................….76,342,235 ONS FIGURES A very interesting table, when you look at the trends! In 2006 in 2006 there was 11.68m children, and 39.48m people of working age putting money in kitty to help fund the pensions of 9.67m OAP's about 4 to 1 ! in 2046 [half a lifetime?] 13.5m children and 44.04m people of working age putting money in kitty to help fund the pensions of 18.86m OAP's about 2.5 to 1 Notes old age dependency ratios (OADRs) as at 1 January 2016, collated by Eurostat from the European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries. At this time, the UK’s old age dependency ratio was 284. This was close to the OADR for all the selected European countries, which was 297. Italy (348), Greece (336) and Finland (329) have the highest ratios while Slovakia (209), Luxembourg (209) and Ireland (208) have the lowest. [the ratio is per 1000 peeps] in 2016 there was just 1489 male peeps aged 70; 777 aged 80 and 1033 .........…. over 90! and 2619 aged 18! Natural change has seen an increase in the population but the main driver of the growing population, particularly since the 1990s, can be attributed to net migration. Net migration is the number of immigrants (people moving to the UK for more than 12 months) minus the number of emigrants (people leaving the UK for more than 12 months). The direct effect of net migration has increased the population by more than 251,000 people on average per year from 2004 to 2016; this is an average of 52,000 more people per year than natural change for the same period (Figure 6). In addition to this direct effect of migration on the size of the population, current and past international migration also has indirect effects on the size of the population as it changes the numbers of births and deaths in the UK.
I didn't mean it in a political sense, as in left/right wing. I meant far left vs far right - at complete opposite end to each other, literally strongly disagree with each other on everything Brexit
cjs, you've got me thinking there, I'm not a massive Boris fan but he will have my vote in a GE because he is for leave, Farage and Corbyn are both on the extremes, right and left, Farage is a one idea man (Get out of Europe) and Corbyn is a marxist, racist snake and has suspect friends. The Liberal Democats are just wandering souls without leadership. I'm not left or right, I am just a middle of the road leaver looking forward to booting the EU out of our lives and then our nation can get back together and move on, all joined up with a great future.
I worry Wiz, whichever way this goes , leave or Remain, it will take years for our nation to come together, the divide has become so wide and deep felt. Once a vote is taken whichever way it goes, like it or not, we have to implement it, or else this is what happens. It has probably gone too far now but we have to try to get through it as quickly as possible, kicking the can down the road will only succeed in prolonging the agony. It’s like having a tooth out without anaesthetic, using a pair of tweezers.
Actually you were asked twice about your use of no preparation and you are providing an entirely differing explanation of what your intent was now. Your no preparation = The sky is going to fall in. Its negative exaggeration and near hysteria. A theme in your posts. Define some preparation? A little? Or extensive? It is ludicrous to suggest only a little (no) preparation has been done. Mr Corbyn does not want to overthrow capitalism, his politics are those of a left of centre Social Democrat. Its a bit like David Lammy calling anybody right of centre Fascists and Nazis. Peel it back and they are not.

Again, I wasn't saying left/right in a political sense. Hindsight, I shouldn't have used 'left/right' when comparing how opposite me and Rob are with Brexit as people will think I mean left/right wing in politics. I used left/right as that is opposite to each other. Maybe I should have used West/East or North/South being at opposite ends to each other. So to re-phrase my comment, my opinion on Brexit compared to Rob's opinion on Brexit is like im on the North Pole and he is on the South Pole, the complete opposite end of the topic. I believe in democracy. Rob doesn't. I want no deal. Rob wants to stop Brexit full stop. If a deal does get done, I do not want any compromises with remainers in having this deal to leave the EU. Rob also not willing to compromise to a Brexit deal as he wants to stop Brexit from happening. We both won't compromise but for opposite reasons. Reason why I don't want to compromise is remainers lost the referendum. Have you ever seen any previous referendum or election where the losers demanded compromises from the winners? Would remainers have made compromises if they won? No chance. I can see all the positives in leaving the EU. Rob can't even agree to the smallest of positives towards leaving the EU. Again, we are at the opposite end of the debate. So we're just going around in circles.
10:30am today we should hear if there was any evidence if Boris lied to the Queen. 11 decisions as 11 judges. This could end 6-5. Wonder if the loser will accept the outcome.
Well done and get your 10 million back No overseas money was used in the Brexit campaign, it was my money . We intend to issue a claim against the EC for the decision to refer this matter to the @NCA publicly. We calculate the losses well over £10million ... @GuidoFawkes Statement from our co-founder Arron Banks responding to the NCA finding "no evidence that any criminal offences have been committed under PPERA or company law" by anyone in our organisation. Total vindication! "I intend to take action against those who have behaved so scandalously!" ♂️ Support us at www.leave.eu/get-involved please log in to view this image
Supreme court has ruled it was unlawful. What a load of crap. Apparently suspending parliament for a Queens speech is usually done for 5/6 days. Not 5 weeks. So it was an extreme length and only to frustrate parliament. They have not taken into account that all parties have party conferences so really parliament is only stopped for 4/5 days in reality. All 11 judges have agreed with each. Again, what a load of crap. I hope Boris Prorogues parliament again now just to take the piss.
What a joke these people are,a law until themselves time for Brexiters to stand tall The UKs highest court are so far out of touch, they have just lit the fuse.Respect the people, respect the vote.
It's painful mate but it's the law, it's what is called democracy, now it's up to Bercow and Fowler to recall both houses and the turmoil will continue, it's madness.
Mr Johnson attempted to use executive power. This case says because of the "rule of law" that exercise of power is open to scrutiny by the courts and the court has said its use in this instance was unlawful .. One side will be roaring off with his head and resign and another can simply shout Tony Blair, weapons of mass destruction and a war.
Only to be expected. The Supreme Court was never going to rule that Parliament have autonomy over their jurisdiction - that would be like voting against themselves. Fair enough, the legal stuff has run it's course so what now? Reopen Parliament, Boris immediately puts down another call for a GE to be debated and voted on. Let's see if Corbyn and Swinson have the guts to take him on and go for it.
I hope he does, I hope they do...I still think Boris would piss it as imo Corbyn & Swinson are a shambles... I believe and always said he needs Nigel on board...
