Happiness is what it's all about mate. Hated work and was quite unhappy. Work for myself now, were not millionaires or anything but we are comfortable.
When my two went to the prep school, I would say that 75% of the parents were not rich, they just made different choices to others. My wife and I aren’t materialistic people so we never had to have the latest gadgets or newest car in the road.
I accept that mate but I use an expensive gym because its right across the street ! id rather use a cheap gym all I require is heavy objects im not there to look cool or sound flash
Well at one period of my life i would regularly have contact with a bunch of present & "old boys" of one of the big well known public schools and like everywhere else some were sound whilst others twats .Having said that though of the 4 i particularly became mates with it was noticeable 2 were ones who were /had been scholarship students . I have to say it was a bit of an eye opener when i found out how rich some of the families were .
Yeah that's a good example of what I mean, I know that it's a bit of generalisation but there's undoubtedly a bit of truth in it same as you'll get more troublesome kids at public schools. Ultimately it's going to be a mixture of good and bad and most people in the country are just in a bit of a postcode lottery.
I did when I worked Newcastle city centre because it was across the street so I could use before or after work easily or even on my lunch break
