I've started watching the Amazon prime series which followed them last season. Will be interesting to see how they handle Bielsa throwing that game. The first Ep sets him up as fair play personified.

 

What exactly made the FIFA judges pick Messi as "Player of the Year" yet again? What exactly did Barcelona and Argentina achieve to merit this award for him? Should have gone to VVD!!!

 

Agree. But I won't lose any sleep over that decision!

 

What does it matter what Barcelona & Argentina achieved? That's irrelevant to the INDIVIDUAL PLAYER awards.

If Barcelona had won the CL fair enough, but they were routed. And the runner-ups team exited in the qfs. Of the top 3 players, which one had the biggest impact at both club and international level? VVD on both counts, followed by CR.

 

After last night´s results, which manager is closer to the exit door? Can Stoke´s manager survive much longer? Nathan Jones, who they recruited from Luton Town. Is Poch´s time at the Lane up? If Real Madrid continue to stutter, just maybe he´ll get his Christmas wish and take Erikson with him. He must be their longest serving manager since, if not Bill Nicholson then the one who guided them to two FA Cup successes in the 80s. In this day and age 4 years is a long, long time managing one club. Further down the pyramid, Jackett, who is in his 3rd year. At this level, most managers are lucky to survive two seasons so he could be on borrowed time.

I am surprised this hasn´t happened already as their results have been awful. Unless, unless Stoke just haven´t been getting the rub of the green and their fortunes will soon change.
