Agreed. No Djenepo and unlikely to have Redmond either. I don't think this is the sort of game suited to Boufal either - slightly worrying!

our attacking play would be quite flat without Redman as well as Djenepo.

fwiw , id also play Armstrong.. he's played in the old firm's and knows what a derby means.

 

Strange though as Redmond seemed fine for 80 minutes on Friday.

 

It did seem odd though that we were chasing an equaliser when he was subbed.
Out of puff i hope and not a knock.

 

Not unusual to play squad players in an early round cup game against lower league opposition

 

Unusual to do so in your biggest game of the season though.

It's just unusual that both those descriptions apply to this match.

The defence is the most important tomorrow - I'd play Cedric because he's been playing well recently and is very experienced - played the Euro 16 final didn't he? I worry if Valery might let the occasion get to him and Cedric might be a safer bet.

We'd have JWP, Long, Ings to bring on. If Redmond isn't fit, then Ings/JWP to start in his place.

I would play Shane in this one as he is always a useful out ball and they will be coming at us at 100 mph at the start I reckon. He always has the right attitude too.

 

I'd be happy with that, he's a complete wind up merchant when needed too.

 

Be good if he could beat his scoring record, 7 seconds isn't it?
