One of the worst players? I can give you 100 players that were worse than Pritchard. I can give you 20 players in Duchatelet's time. Who could forget Anil Koc, Thuram, LePoint? Continuing the theme about non league players making it. https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-reads/hart-smalling-vardy-non-league-premier-league-xi/
Always going to be a subjective debate, but Pritchard was a shocking footballer, certainly at Championship level. What did he do once he left us ?
I think we'll see a much improved performance. Pearce will be back, the players will have felt the rough edge of Bowyer's tongue, and we have some decent players, as they have shown.
We don't cane anyone, we create loads but have trouble putting the chances away, we have loads of possession though ,play great football and are defending well,
Looking forward to seeing the legend Bielsa and his version of high tempo football at the Valley on Saturday. I bet Leeds fans would love Bowyer next
Languages come easier to some people than they do to others. I was useless at school even trying to learn basic French, which is supposed to be an easy language to learn, so I am told.
He does speak some English, apparently he doesn't use it too much as he's not confident that he will get his message over correctly, so chooses to use an interpreter. This season he has been saying more in English to the players, according to a few of them
It should be a cracking match thread tomorrow All of the serious posters at the game @AllHellLetLoose (Sat Nav ) @DickPlumb @ForestHillBilly @lardiman @Miketyson2007Junior @Sat In Greenwich @Clb74 @Whats up Doc The Sheriff Etc, etc And the resident drunken arsehole over 200 miles away in Liverpool
It's a strange thing, but I cannot muster any enthusiasm for this Leeds game at all. Just got this feeling that they're going to take us apart and it's not going to be a pretty sight. Despite what some optimistic fans are saying I'm afraid I feel that Charlton really are a one man team when it comes to being competitive. I know we have some decent players. but without Lyle Taylor on the pitch the possibility of something extraordinary seems to simply not be there.
I predict the atmosphere tomorrow at the Valley will be second only to that at Great Dixter today ….. oh wait what about the atmosphere in the HoC??? umm?
