So what do we make of Bernardo silva tweet. Sent a tweet saying how much his mate mendy looks like a character from some sweet packaging. Has since bern deleted and mendy has tweeted to say you can’t even have a laugh with mates. kick it out are going off big saying he should be punished. too far? Bit of banter between mates? Agree with that but mainly youngsters that are not joining a already established. They are expected to come in and hit the ground running whilst carrying the unless ****s already there. Still think they could have used the Mcguire money more wisely. Should have taken a hit in Pogba to get rid and boost the funds a bit more too.
Woodward is an easy target but in fairness to him most managers have got the players they wanted. For me the problem lies with the playing staff, not ability wise so much as the mentality. There is not one player in the squad that I would call a leader, a game goes a bit wrong heads drop and sulks set in. There is no fight in the team which after the teams that Fergie had seems impossible. Keane, Giggs, Neville, Scholes, Evra (boo ), Cantona, Schmeichel, Vidic, Ferdinand, Bruce, Pallister, etc, these were all fighters/captains. The players we have now are all soft and hide if it gets tough.
